The wrath of angry sprites, Farah answered. Also, just because you get a taste of my powers now doesn't mean you can use them whenever you like.

Ah… Shade murmurs. I don't think you entirely get it. Since part of your aura was transferred to me and some of mine was transferred to you, we both gained a part of each other's powers. For you, I'm not sure what that means, but for me, that means a little wind magic, plus whatever other magic you have.
Well, what powers do you have? Farah asked, scaling down the side carefully. "Be careful."
Well, animal control, for starters. Shade says.
"I know." she says.
I can also do some form of… vivikinesis. Basically, I have a tendency to cause explosions of plant growth in stressful situations. Also, being absolutely fabulous in and out of clothes.
Farah sucked in too much air and coughed violently for a moment.
"You alright there, Farah?" Saul asked.
"Yes," Farah replied, facing forward so he couldn't see her wild blush. Interesting powers.
Hah! Got ya! Shade laughs.
"She's fine fine fine. Just accidentally choked on my fabulousness." she teases.
Indeed. All jokes aside, I'm not sure what else. she says, producing a small flame. She looks surprised, then shrugs, closing her hand and extinguishing it. We'l just have to experiment.
Farah shook her head. You got a bit of all of my powers? I'll have to show you. You'll get to meet more spirits. She glanced over at Shade and winked quickly.
"Am I missing something?" Saul asked incredulously.
"Not at all," Farah replied casually.
Yup! It's interesting. You got a bit of all of mine. We can train each other now! Shade laughs, winking back.
"Nope nope nope! Not much, at least." she laughs, cartwheeling down the mountain.
"Shade! Careful!" Farah yelped, picking up her pace a bit to follow after her.
Shade's laughter bounces up the mountain as Shade countinues to cartwheel her way down. She stops at about the halfway mark, looks up, waves and grins, then leans back and jumps. I'm fine! she calls back up to Farah. I'll see you at the bottom! Tell Saul I'm fine, by the way.
"Shade!" Saul yelled, but Farah's arm shot out blocked him from running.
"She's alright. If you run, you could slip. We have to be careful."
It's dark down here. Let me try something. Stand still for a moment, and tell Saul the same. Power experimentation time, baby! Shade says to Farah.
I have to teach you! Farah objected. I'm not agreeing to anything until you understand how to use my abilities.
I'm a quick learner. And besides, I've been practicing. Shade laughs, and the next moment Farah and Saul are next to her.
"Fancy seeing you here." she says with as straight a face as she can muster.
I don't ca– Farah gasped, jolting as she appeared beside Shade. "Oh gods, never do that again!"
Shade chuckles. "It saved time. And anyways, we're where we need to start. This cave entrance-" she gestures behind her. "-positively reeks of rampant aura energy."
Saul drew his sword quickly and held it firm. "Let's go," he ordered, striding off.
Farah rolled her eyes. "And how to do expect to see?" She held up her hand and formed an orb of light at her fingertips. Don't try that.
Shade grins and says at the same time Farah spoke: "March on, soldier. But what good are your eyes if they can't see?"
Why not? she asks innocently.
Because Light magic is extremely difficult. I doubt you got any bit of that, seeing as I don't even have that much. Don't tell Saul that.
Farah strode into the cave making a second orb of light after a few moments.
Shade shrugs mentally. Fair enough. But who knows? Maybe I have some of my own.
She follows Farah, her eyes adjusting quickly.
"We have a ways to go." she murmurs.
Farah's pace was quick as she matched Saul's. "Can you tell how far?" she asked, directed at Shade.
Shade blinks, then rattles off a number. "Six miles down, twice that much ground to cover."
"Lovely," Farah replied sarcastically. "This brother of yours better be worth it."
Saul shot her a glare to which Farah responded by raising her eyebrows.
Shade wasn't done with the whole "rattling off the exact distance down".
"Nobody besides me finds it weird that I just, you know, became a human freaking computer?" she snarks.
Farah looked over at her and leaned close to her face for a moment. "You're weird," she purred before leaning away and facing forward again.
