Farah's eyes widened, noticing their rhythm. "I can hear you," she whispered.
Farah's eyes widened, noticing their rhythm. "I can hear you," she whispered.
Shade laughs. I know. The aura transfer creates a bond deeper than blood. It joins two souls. That is why the people involved must be fully willing, without a doubt. I can see what you see, hear what you hear, feel what you feel. We are bound as parabatai, Farah.
She releases Farah then, looking her dead in the eyes. "We both know what the other feels."
Farah looked deep into Shade's eyes as well. "Oh… What about Brucie?"
"She said it herelf: spirits can't be affected, which is why you felt so drained. The second person is to act as a pathway for the leyline's energy anyways. And anyways, a person cannot be bound as we are to two people." Shade murmurs, holding Farah's gaze.
Farah exhaled softly. "Right… so, we're… bound together now? Our auras are?"
Yeah… and our souls. she thinks, mentally prodding Farah to prove her point.
"Anyways… what do you want to do about that feeling of yours, hmm? You just going to sit sit sit there?" she smirks.
"What feeling?" Farah asked quietly, knowing the statement was completely unnecessary. Shade obviously knew exactly what Farah was feeling, and Farah obviously knew exactly what Shade was talking about.
Shade laughs lightly and leans in her lips parting slightly. She hesitates a moment, then closes the distance between them. At first, a chaste press of lips on lips, and then… more. Something inside Shade seems to awaken.
Farah was a ticking time-bomb when Shade leaned in, and when the girl kissed her, Farah felt she was going to explode. With the kiss initiated, Farah reached up to cup Shade's face and draw her in closer and deeper.
Shade gasps a little, then smiles, letting Farah draw her in. She breaks from kissing for a moment to move her body closer, until it was pressed right up against Farah's. She trails kisses down from the faerie's lips down to her throat, feeling Farah's pulse against her lips.
Farah put her hand on Shade's waist to steady herself and gasped quietly as Shade kissed her throat. "Oh gods…" she whispered. Neck kisses melted Farah almost instantly.
Shade laughs. You like that, huh? she thinks, letting her hands roam free. This close to Farah, her own heart was racing, pulsing away in time with the faerie's. Her lips move back up to Farah's.
"How far do we want to go?" Shade gasps, breaking away momentarily to catch her breath.
Farah was already slightly breathless. "However far you're comfortable with," she replied quietly, freely admiring Shade's face.
Shade laughs. "You sure sure sure?"
She looks at Farah with a mixture of love, hope, joy and dizzyness. Watching her eyes most of all.
"Of course," Farah murmured, grinning as she felt the emotions pouring out of Shade. This time, it was Farah who leaned in and pressed her lips to Shade's.
Shade gasps, then leans into the kiss as though she were trying to fold herself into Farah, knowing neither of them would shatter. She starts pulling off the faerie's shirt, admiring her flawless skin. Her own shirt comes off next, and both were tossed in a corner of the tent. She lost herself in the sensation of Farah, never wanting to leave this moment.
They didn't speak with words again, but their kisses were eloquent enough that neither needed to.
Farah shuddered a bit when Shade pulled her shirt off, but she snapped to channel a bit of fire magic to warm herself. You're beautiful. The second she could once Shade's shirt was off, Farah pulled her close to kiss her again, deepening it from last time.
Shade grins when she hears Farah's words. You are too.
The kisses continued, deeper and deeper; it was as though kissing was a hole that neither could get out of, could only continue falling down. And fall down she did, sliding them to the floor, momentarily breaking away to kick off her pants and toss them in the pile of other clothes. She forgot about the world around her, about Saul and the legend standing guard outside. Forgot they were on a mountain, trying to save someone. At that moment, there was only Farah. She slid the faeries pants off of her, then went back to kissing, the feeling of Farah underneath her driving her into a frenzy.
Farah's skin burned with heat of magic and passion. With the two of them only in their undergarments, Farah pulled Shade on top of her and kissed her like it was the only way to stay alive. For a moment, she didn't care if Alara or Saul heard them, the only thing she cared about was holding Shade's body and kissing her sweet, soft lips.
Shade laughs silently, and each kiss just becomes deeper, hungrier. And at that last moment, she didn't flinch away, reveling in the texture of Farah's lips, her body.
Afterwards, Shade lay there, gasping slightly and laughing.
"That… was… that… wow." she murmurs, tracing the line of Farah's hips lazily.
Farah laughed quietly. "Yes. Wow." She sighed as Shade's finger traced her lips, and she let her own hand linger on Shade's waist to keep her body close. "Do you think they heard us?"
"Alara? Definitely. Saul? Definitely not." Shade breathes.
Farah smiled coyly and leaned in to press another kiss to Shade's lips. "I think I'd have to agree with you."
Shade laughs, and leans into the kiss, enjoying the feelings that pulse through their bond. "Anyways, we should actually get a little sleep. We've got a busy day tomorrow."
"That's true," Farah murmured. She shifted her position a bit so it was easier to caress Shade's body in her arms. "Very very true."
