A human goes for a walk in the woods and stumbles across another person. The two befriend each other, and suddenly a wild animal (bear, wolf, something…) attacks them. The mysterious person from the woods charms it and the human discovers the innocent person they met isn't even human. I'd like to be the fairy, and my character will be female :) I'm comfortable with gxb and gxg, so it's up to you.

Farah made her way through the woods at a heightened pace. Her hearing was boosted, just in case. The woods she normally traveled through was full of surrounding dangers. This one, however, seemed to be harmless. Still, she wasn't very familiar with it, so she was on high alert and jumped at noises even though all her ears detected was squirrels skirting over the dead leaves and birds flitting from tree to tree, chirping as they went. It was the way she'd had taught her to act.
Suddenly, she heard a noise toward her left. She whipped her head around to see something else moving through the woods. After glancing around to make sure the rest of the forest was clear, Farah slowly crept toward the shadow, unsure of what it was and what danger it could potentially be. Her powers tingled underneath her fingertips, waiting to be unleashed on command.
(Note: she is not quite to Farrah yet. She found a sprite, not the Court Faerie that Farrah so abviously is.)
Shade was wandering through the woods, collecting odd bits of wood and rock, humming tunes to herself as she walked. Occasionally, she'd see an animal and chase after it, then get distracted by her wood and rocks again. SHe heard the soft padding of what sounded like an exceptionally large mountain cat nearby, and laughed.
"Here, kitty!" she called walking towards the noise. When she reached where the noise came from, she found a faerie instead of a cat.
"Ooh! Pretty pretty fairy!" she sang, laughing.
(So Farah doesn't have wings, and right now she looks like a normal person. Forgot to mention this in my template, but she's 5'8". Shade isn't going to know she's a fairy right away.)

(Oh, and Shades about 4'9". Short. Which could explain why the hell she's so… Shade.)

Farah's eyes widened, and she hid behind a large tree trunk. She composed herself, took a deep breath, and peeked out to see a white-haired girl laughing at a sprite.
(Mm-hmmm! I like meh characters to be short lil muffins! I like muffins. Can you see where the inspiration from Shade came from, lol?)
Shade laughs and chases the sprite around for a little bit before finding an interesting leaf. The sprite lands on her shoulder, and she absentmindedly hands it a solid, pure diamond. The faerie nearly has a heart attack. In the process of chasing the sprite, she had ended up behind a particularly large tree. She investigated it, but nothing was there. SHe could have sworn she'd seen something, though.
Eventually, she falls asleep against a tree, the sprite having stayed with her the entire time.
Farah waved her hand and dispelled the light magic that had made her invisible while Shade had searched for her. When the girl fell asleep, Farah knelt down beside her curiously. "Who are you?" she whispered, a British accent tinting her words. "And what are you doing here?"
Shade looks up blearily, and smiles.
"I am Shade Shade Shade. I am looking for shinies and interesting things!" she says, laughing. She gets up and starts dancing around Farrah.
"Who are you you you, pretty one?" she asks, a joyful and mischevious sparkle in her eyes.
Farah gasped and backed away. "I thought you were asleep," she admitted, her eyes watching the whimsical girl as she moved and danced.
"I was! And then I wasn't. That's how sleeping works! And besides, why would you ask a question if I was asleep?" Shade beams, still dancing. The sprite is giggling at Farrah.
"I know how sleeping works." Farah glared at the sprite. "Rhetoric," she answered, crossing her arms and arching an eyebrow.
"You really don't seem to understand much at first, do you?" Shade beams.
"OH! You are a very funny funny funny person!" she says, noting the arched brow. The sprite sticks it tongue out at Farrah.
Farah frowned. "Well, what are you doing here, Shade?" she asked, ignoring the sprite.
"Shinies shinies shinies! Interesting things, faeries, meetings in the woods with people I don't know! Who are you again?" Shade asks, bending down and grabbing a sturdy stick that could be used as a walking stick. The sprite laughs, and grabs some shinies of its own.
"My name is Farah," she answered. "You shouldn't be walking around in the forest by yourself, Shade. It can be dangerous."
Shade laughs.
"Dangerous to who? Definitely not me me me. The forest knows." she says slyly. The sprite nods.
