Ash smiled again. He took Laura's hand, leading her back to her own room.
"Did you brush your teeth?" He asked. He smiled just a touch.
"And did you brush your hair too, or should I do that?"

Laura kept a hold on his hand, looking up at him when he started speaking.
"Oh- um, no sir… to both of those." She mumbled, glancing down at the floor. "Would you mind helping me with my hair..?"

"I would love to help with your hair." Ash smiled some.
"Here, let's go brush our teeth together then." He led Laura towards the bathroom, keeping the atmosphere light as best he could for Laura.

Laura smiled sweetly, following along after him. She kept to her toes as they walked, looking up at him.
"Alright sir, thank you." She hummed softly, quietly following besides him.

Ash chuckled, nodding in turn. He pulled out the stool with they got to the bathroom, helping Laura up on to it so she could reach the sink.
"You got this?" He asked, more than ready to help if need be.

Laura nodded with a smile, climbing up on the stool.
"Yes, sir. Um… is there a tooth brush for me?" She asked softly, tipping her head curiously.

"Yep!" Ash pulled open a drawer, bringing out a brand new toothbrush that was still in the packaging. Ash opened it, offering it to Laura as he brought the kids toothpaste over to her.

Laura took it from him, smiling softly as she squeezed the toothpaste onto the brush.
"Thank you, sir." She hummed before sticking it in her mouth and brushing her teeth. She smiled up at him, quietly carrying out the simple task.

Ash grinned.
"You're welcome!" He hummed to himself in turn, getting his own toothbrush. He put the toothpaste on, starting to brush his own teeth. He was enjoying the time with Laura, doing simple little things like this. Making sure she was taken care of.

Laura kept up a soft smile, spitting the foam out of her mouth when she was done. Rinsing off the tooth brush, she looked up at him.
"Where should I keep it?" Laura asked softly.

Ash spat as well, rinsing his mouth out and humming some.
"Here, you can have this stop in the holder." Ash pulledover a toothbrush holder, tapping one slot lightly.

Laura nodded a little, placing the toothbrush in rather carefully. After putting it away, she climbed down from the stool to stand flat on the floor.
"Mm, is it bed time?" She yawned, rubbing at her eyes some.

"Almost, sweetie." Ash smiled some, reaching down to pick Laura up.
"Here, let's go get you to your room. I'll brush your hair there, okay?" He smiled softly, patting Laura's back.

Laura nodded a little, snuggling up in his arms.
"Okay, sir…" She whispered, yawning again. She hummed softly as she curled up against him, nuzzling her face into his shoulder.

Ash smiled softly. He ran his fingers through Laura's hair, walking quietly back to the bedroom. He sat down on the bed, picking the hairbrush up to run through her hair a few times. He started humming softly, a lullaby.

Laura had pulled the headband off her head, fidgeting with it in her hands. She was so tired right now, his soft humming definitely helping with her growing sleepiness. She tried to stay awake despite the pull to just lay down and sleep right then and there.

Ash finished after a short time. He laid Laura down, tucking her in.
"Good night, Laura," he said softly, offering her a smile. He rested his hand on her head a moment, continuing with his soft song.

"Mmm… g'night, sir…" Laura whispered, curling up in the blankets.
"And- um… thank you, sir… for everything you've done." She added before falling asleep, blankets pulled up to her chin.

Ash smiled softly as he watched Laura fell asleep.
"You're welcome, Laura…" He made sure she was secure, before silently getting up from her bed to go to his own room.

When the sun came up the next morning, Laura was already out of bed, and dressed. Sometime in the middle of the night she had woken up and was never able to fall back to sleep. But being her, she didn't go to wake up Mr. Ash. There wasn't much he would have been able to do, anyways.
As tired as she was, she still managed to get out of bed and get ready for the day. But since it had been so early when she got up, she decided it was best to just wait in her room until she heard Mr. Ash coming to wake her up.

Ash slept until his normal time, smiling softly. He woke up, laying in his bed a moment. He yawned, stretching. Slipping out of bed, he changed, brushing his hair and tail fur before heading out of the room to knock on Laura's door. He opened it, smiling.
"Time to get up, Laura- oh? Ah, you're awake." Ash smiled some.
"Is it alright if I come in?"

Laura looked up at him from her place on the floor, carefully setting up a castle made of cards. She smiled softly, waving a little when he opened the door.
“Good morning.” She hummed a little, cleaning up the deck of cards to put away. She stood up, putting the cards back where she had found them from.
“Yes sir, you can come in.” She hummed a little, adjusting the headband on the top of her head.

Ash came in, smiling some.
"Did you sleep well?" He asked. He didn't know how long Laura had been up, but it couldn't be long, right..?

Laura shrugged, yawning a little as she came up to him.
"I guess so." She mumbled as she held a hand out to him. "Mm, what about you?"

Ash took the hand Laura held out, humming some.
"I slept very well, thank you for asking! How long have you been up?"
