She walked to her motorcycle, put her helmet on and got on. She zoomed through the city, going through open spaces by the cars. She headed towards the agency and started parking her bike in her spot. She took her helmet off and walked inside.
Oliana pulled some headphones on, listening to music. She didn't know how far away Abigail was, so she started to work on some of her newer gadgets. This cleared her mind even more, relaxing her.
She walked through the corridors, past the agents and straight to Oliana’s lab. Since the door was almost closed, but still open, she walked inside quickly and quietly. She coughed to get Oliana’s attention.
Oliana couldn't hear Abigail's cough over her music. She continued to work on her gadgets, moving around her bench slightly. There was an island in the center of the lab, much like a kitchen island. Oliana moved to go towards it, only then seeing Abigail. She took her headphones off. "Sorry about leaving like that."
"It's fine, you don't have to worry about it or even apologize. I understand that you needed some time alone and to relax." She paused and looked at what Oliana was working on. "And I can see that working has cleared your mind."
"Yeah, there's a couple new gadgets I'm working on. I don't normally do that…it's just that this whole Glitch thing hits really close to home. So many people are blaming me for it."
Abigail frowned and sighed. “Yeah, since you have the ability to glitch, the first person that comes to mind is you. Instead of blaming it on you, they should do some research.” She sighed once again and shook her head. “They really have to stop blaming all of this on you.”
Oliana looked at Abigail, a grateful look on her face. "Thank you. That actually means a lot to me. You're one of the first people to not automatically think that I'm the cause of the Glitch. Thank you."
Abigail chuckled and then gave Oliana a smile. ”You’re welcome.” She sighed and continued. “I’m sure there are other people out there who don’t believe that you’re the cause of all of this. I’m sure that something. . or someone is doing this on purpose. What I don’t understand is why. Why would they want to do this? It’s just so confusing!”
"That's another thing we have to figure out. Not just what's causing it, but who is causing it and why they're doing it. What happened to them to make them do this?"
“Well, every Villain has a tragic backstory. Maybe, I don’t know, the Villain had something against someone or a group of people and was targeting to kill them with the glitch, but instead ended up targeting innocent people.”
"Yeah, maybe you're right. They would want to hurt their enemies in the worst way possible, and we've seen how painful and bad the Glitch can be with the death of Maxwell Heines. But maybe they never meant for it to spread any further. Maybe they didn't realise that it would become contagious. Maybe they even have it themselves."
Abigail nodded in agreement. " He or she wouldn't realize that they created a deadly and contagious virus, and if they do have the glitch, they might've found something that. . delays the glitch. Of course, this is if the person does have the glitch themselves."
"Or even if they don't," Oliana suggested. "They might not have it, but it could have spread to their loved ones. And if that happened, they would want to help them and cure them, so they developed something to do that. We should try to talk to Heines' family, since he was the first known person to be infected and then to die from it."
She put a finger on her chin thoughtfully. “True, very true. Even if they don’t have it, it doesn’t mean that their loved one might or might not have it.” She paused and then continued, “Yes, that’s a good idea, partner. Hopefully, they’ll want to talk to us and give us some details and all of that jazz.”
Oliana pulled up a monitor on the desk in the middle. She pulled up the file for Heines and all of his family members. "We should go to all of them. We don't want to skip anyone, since the one person we skip will probably have all the information we need." She grabbed all of the addresses that they lived in, placing them as pinpoints on a map. "We can use this to formulate the easiest way to get to all of them."
Abigail nodded and examined the map. She realized that their houses weren’t that far away from each other, well expect one. She calculated that it would be about three hours to get to the last house.
"Based on the time it is now and also the fact that we don't know how long his will take, we should do half of them today and the other half tomorrow. This means we won't be rushing to get to everyone during daylight."
Abigail nodded once again. “Alright, I agree with you on that. We better get started, cause if we don’t night will come faster than you can say night falls.”
"Yeah. If you wanna head down to the garage, I'll meet you there. I'll just contact Agent Indigo to let her know what we're gonna do." Oliana gave a small smile.
“Sure thing, alright I’ll met you at the garages.” With that she smiled and then left Oliana’s lab. She immediately started speed walking to get to her spot were she left her bike.
After a quick call to Indigo, Oliana glitched down to the bike garage. She looked around and quickly spotted Abigail, walking over to the other agent. "It's all good with Indigo."
“That’s great!” Abigail said, as she leaned on the wall. She sighed and walked over to her bike which was like 32 inches away. “Alright, get your bike and meet me at the driveway of the agency.” She put her helmet, got on, started her bike and drove away.
Oliana glitched to where her own bike was. Hers was closer to the entrance, considering there was a pretty big gap between her spot and Abigail's. She hopped onto it, her helmet appearing.
At the moment that Oliana glitched to the garage, Abigail's bike passed Oliana's garage and stopped when it reached the driveway.
