"I don't know," Arsen said, brow furrowed in confusion.

"I don't know," Arsen said, brow furrowed in confusion.
(Ahhhhhh Same!)
Luna gave a light shrug, watching the place Joanna had disappeared to. "Well, I wanted to ask how the two of you's relationship is panning out. It seemed like a strange pairing if I'm being honest, but you seem happy." Luna told him, brushing hair from her face.
(Let's do this!)
He shrugged. "I didn't like her at first," he admitted, deciding that telling the truth was his best bet. "But… she grew on me."
“Did she? That’s so sweet. I know J-Daria,” She corrected herself quickly. “Can be strong headed sometimes. But she’s worth it in the end.” Luna smiled softly.
"I agree." He grinned at her, not seeming to hear her trip-up. He shook his head slightly as a pounding headache started to grow between his eyes. It didn't matter what she had been about to say.
Their food came, and Joanna still wasn't there.
"You feeling alright?" Jake questioned, noting the discomfort on his face. A slight frown was on both the adults faces, as they glanced at each other. "If you aren't feeling OK, we can ask for the check and you can go back home. Especially if Daria isn't feeling great either. She was acting strange." Luna offered, taking a sip from her water. She was being really polite, an odd amount.
Joanna starred at her reflection in the mirror, trying to just calm down. She felt sick, looking sick as well. Her face was pale, and the dark circles under her eyes were more prominent even under all the makeup on her face. With a few deep breaths, she pushed off the counter, and slowly made her way back to the table. Maybe she just looked odd under the bathroom lighting, they weren't the best anyways.
He shook his head. "I'm fine. Just didn't get enough sleep."
His headache was leaving. He looked up and saw Joanna, coming from the direction of the bathrooms, and gave the smallest sigh of relief. He nodded to her. "The food came without you."
"Y-yeah sounds good." She mumbled sitting down. Just smelling the food made her gain some coloring back in her face. 'Did I forget to eat lunch?' She wondered, trying to recall eating. 'Must be why I felt so sick.' She shrugged slightly, taking a sip of her water.
"You alright dear?" Luna asked with a raised brow, and Joanna nodded with a light smile. "Just hungry, that's all."
Arsen glanced sideways at her. His expression was concerned, and this time, he wasn't faking it. You okay? He mouthed.
Joanna looked at him, nodding slightly. 'Fine.' She mouthed back, and to reassure him gave him a small firm smile. Not want to worry him about her random nausea.
Looking unconvinced, he turned to the Powells. He racked his mind for something to say, but came up with nothing.
"Are you two sure you're alright?" Jake asked, unfolding his napkin and resting it in his lap. "We really don't mind pushing this to another night." He told them, and Joanna shook her head. "I'm fine if he is, really." Joanna reassured the two of them, looking to Arsen. "Really, I am." She said, a little more to Arsen than the other two.
"Alright dear," Luna paused to let a smile simmer on her lips. "How are you liking your hotel?"
"Um… it's clean?" Arsen said, then laughed. "Actually, it's nice, but the room they gave us had two bedrooms, not one. It's weird."
Luna laughed lightly, digging into her food. "That is odd, I wonder why?" She hummed, not seemingly really curious.
"Probably because they have experience with couples fighting and then demanding them to get them a new room."
"Oh that would make sense, though I wouldn't expect it from the two of you." She laughed, still smiling.
"I don't know about that." Arsen grinned.
Joanna pursed her lips, giving him a look. Though she herself was trying not to laugh, and pushed down a smile. "No couple is perfect." Joanna mumbled, and slowly ate her own food.
"Amen to that!" Jake exclaimed, so loud that Luna winced and poked him. "Quiet, you," she hissed.
Joanna laughed, leaning over to Arsen and pecking his cheek. “Yeah, but some may be practically perfect.” She snorted some, knowing that wasn’t the two of them.
He raised an eyebrow. "Yeah. We're the perfect couple."
Jo shook her head, a light smile on her lips. "I didn't say that, I was just saying that some are. Practically that is."
Luna laughed. "Well, you absolutely do not seem like the perfect couple, at all." Jake nudged her, and she snickered. "Sorry. But it's true."
Joanna rolled her eyes some, good-naturedly. "Believe me, I know we aren't." She chuckled, taking Arsen's hand. "But we're close enough."
He grinned at her, the idea of being a couple almost not cringe-worthy. Almost. He ran a hand through his hair, and then disentangled his other hand from Joanna's. "Sorry, love," he said. "But I need both hands to eat." He nodded his head down at the food. "This stuff is fantastic."
