I haven't done a vampire RP in ages, and I've never tried a "soulmates" one, so I'd be up for something new like those.
We could also potentially do something apocalyptic, or something otherwise supernatural

Apocalypse sounds fun…
Though you'll have to play the/a vampire, cause I don't have vampires..

As long as you still want to do a gay RP, sure. I don't have a super strong preference one way or another.
I can play a vampire, though I would have to make a new character or modify an existing one. But I modify existing characters all the time for RPs, so it's no big deal.

That'd be awesome! I could modify a chara too.. but I think there's a specific boi I wanna use… and I don't wanna modify too much…

What character do you have in mind?

I'm torn between Rykah, and Rio,
Rio is a water/wind elemental,
Rykah… is a special part wolf boi…

Hmm… well let's see, I want to use someone I haven't RPed with you before, so that narrows it down a lot.
Maybe you can pick once we settle on a prompt/theme?

So we could do vampires, in which case, maybe a vampire slayer/vampire romance? Or something like that, if you have ideas
Or an apocalypse thing. Which honestly, I'm down for a lot of different themes there. Something more realistic like war or natural disaster, or something like zombies, and we have a goal within survival

in which case I'd probably use Rykah cause then I can pull from his OG storyline…

Ye! Though I do need to warn you about Rykah,
He's a bit of a unique boi, and while he is part wolf like a lot of my charas, he shows it a bit differently, as in he has the ears and tail and wings of a wolf inherited from his dad.

Okay, I still have to pick out a character. Sorry, I've been really busy. It's my last week of classes, and finals are coming up.

I'm still not 100% sure. I might use Tohru?? He's a cool character. Or maybe I'll dredge up an old one like Xander.

Well I can't give you an opinion unless I know who the charas are….

Tohru is still in the works as a character, but at his core, he's the type of character who looks like a badass, but is actually majorly insecure. He fancies himself a better thinker than fighter. To quote myself on one of his profiles: "A little cold and gruff at first, can come off as sarcastic and rude, but he's really just a bit anxious when meeting new people. Once shown kindness, he is quick to warm up. He is a very practical person and likes to think through options before making decisions, but he is not overly analytical and believes gut instincts have a lot of value. He is an introvert and has a good amount of creativity and strategy bouncing around in his head. That said, he occasionally has his head in the clouds and misses things. He prefers to make plans before taking action, but is capable of making on-the-fly decisions if absolutely necessary."
And Xander is a much older character of mine. He's the really scared and nervous type, considers himself a coward, and many others do too. However, he is an expert at getting out of situations, especially with his background as a thief (as in, he stole to survive). He's a very sensitive and artistic soul, but despite all his hurt, he is quite trusting of others- perhaps even gullible- and he is also known to extend mercy even to those who may not deserve it. He is also generally highly perceptive and very good at thinking on his feet.

Both of those personalities wouldn't fit great with Rykah, they're too similar to be relationship material… They do sound like interesting characters though!

Rykah's a shy art kid. He spooks easily when there are loud noises or fighting, but is loyal to a fault when you earn his trust. He loves his art, particularly painting. he finds it calming, a way he can be brave. He's not good at flying, despite the fact that he has wings, but he'll try anyway. He also loves sweet things. Not chocolate. More like cinnamon buns, or gummies.

Hmmm I'm thinking my character Pollux then, maybe? He's really bold and confident, but has kind of dulled emotions. He's a healer but also an absolute badass, and can put up a fight. He's really into research on medicine, and he's kept a lot of notes on his work. I can add powers as needed.
He's the partner of my other character, Aurelius, who I'd say is similar to Rykah in some ways. So they'd maybe have some chemistry?

That actually sounds perfect?
I can see them having a really strong dynamic. And I can see what you mean on Rykah and Aurelius being of similar character types…
And don't worry about being slow, I find I tend to ignore non PM threads more during the week. (Which is why Im letting you know that if I accidentally abandon you for more than 48 hours you're best off bumping our Pm to get my attention.)
