HII!!
Eclipse Moonglow
Dark hair with silver streaks and red highlights.
Muscled build, but overly thin, partly from not eating much. Tall, with delicate features, and pale skin. He also has various scars all over, claw marks, old sword and dagger wounds, ect.
(Are you okay if I keep the fact that he's half wolf? (The castle staff would be wolves too… but with human forms…)
Hello!
:)
Alright, so how to start this?
Errrmmmm…. We start with your character sneaking into the castle to try and kill the prince? Who is then found trying to hang himself from the rafters?
Okay, works for me. Also what kind of setting? Medieval, some sort of modern-esque kingdom, something else?
(Sorry for the wait)
Medieval would probably work best just for the whole royal thing,
(It’s all good)
Alright, works for me. And is there any magic or nah? My character does not come from a magical universe, but if need be, I can make him fit that.
Magic would make it easier for my character to stay true to himself, (Meaning he will also be yet another half wolf.
Alright, great. I’ll think something up for my guy.
You don't have to, but cool!
Some quick basics on my character:
Felix Hammerstrike
23 years old (can change if necessary)
5'7, on the slight side in weight but has a decent amount of muscle in his arms and thighs
Long black hair with brown streaks, usually tied back into a ponytail, brown-black eyes, medium tan complexion
For a magical element, I might make him a druid or something else kind of reminiscent of D&D
Noice! That might actually work really well with my character, who is a Shadow-Luna elemental, (His abilities are hard to explain, but he manipulates nightmares and fear.) Basically a mystic element.
Also I was thinking he'd be 19, early 20 for this.
Alright, cool! So my character would still be close to the same age. Maybe a year or two off at most. We've got a rough idea at least. I'm ready to start whenever you are, I think.
I am too, though I would ask that you start pls… also I have to go for a bit, but I'll be back soon.
Okay, I will! And alright, but I do have to go to bed eventually.
That's fine, though I do suggest posting a starter so we can get started!
Gods, why did it have to be raining? Tonight of all nights? Felix had his hood pulled over his head, shielding his eyes from the torrent of rain as he wandered through the castle town. For days, he had stayed here, investigating rumors on how to infiltrate the castle easiest and to find where the prince's bedroom was. Finally, it was a good day to strike. Some sort of party with guests of high status was being held in the castle. Now, if he just came around the back and found a chink in the armor of the security, he could hide in wait for the prince to return from the festivities.
Although miserable, the rain was a most wonderful aid for his cover, and Felix was able to slip through a gap in castle guards, who were certainly more focused on guarding the ballroom and all of the royalty there. However, this gap on the side led to no entrance, so Felix had to start scaling the wall. He checked the length of the wall for vines in the cracks of stone and was pleasantly surprised.
"Help me out, would you?" he asked politely, "I'm off to do some dirty work, so we might as well get this over with, right?"
When he touched one of the plants, it sprouted a little more until it coiled around his wrist, just firmly enough that he was able to get a hold on the wall. Felix hoisted himself up and started climbing, using the plants to help his ascent. He used the gaps in between stones as footholds, which only worked because his feet were quite small, but he was still at a disadvantage, slipping because of the rain.
Once at a window near the top, Felix looked down. That would be a far fall. He sighed and peered up through the window, then wiped away a few raindrops carefully with his sleeve so he could see inside better. He was pretty sure this was the right place.
Eclipse groaned as he stumbled into his room, having escaped the festivities as quickly as possible. A pair of castle guards had dragged him outside for some "fun" which had consisted of them using him as a punching bag. He would probably have a black eye, and his jaw was bruised again. He knew for a fact at least two ribs were broken, and everywhere else ached. He smiled softly to himself. Cause he knew that wouldn't be the case for long. Slipping into his room he locked the door, then pulled out his rope from under his mattress. The rope, was actually a bunch of cloth strips, braided and knotted together. But it would do for his purposes.
Quickly he tossed it over a rafter beam, tugging it down through a loop at one end so it'd stay. Then he dragged his chair over beneath it. Standing on the chair, he began to wrap the cloth around his neck, making sure it was tight. "Goodbye cruel world" he said softly to himself, oddly calm about the whole thing. Probably because he knew no one would truly miss him.
Felix squinted his eyes as he saw movement in the bedroom. The prince was back already. He made sure that no one else had followed, but he had to think quickly.
He pulled himself up on the windowsill and pried the window open, then rolled inside, first running to lock the door. But then he saw what the prince was doing.
"Gods, I didn't expect you to do my job for me…" Felix managed, "But you're supposed to be dead one way or another, so… I could probably end it faster if you'd prefer."
There was an intense hurt in his voice. Why couldn't this just have been like all his other victims? Felix would've even expected someone to fight back. Never this, though.
Eclipse blinked in surprise when someone climbed in through his window, his silvery grey eyes staring at him in shock. He had been just about to kick the chair out from under his feet, ready to leave this world. But what shocked him more, was the fact that the man's tone was…. hurt?
Why would some stranger be upset about this?? he thought, completely confused. No one's ever cared about me before…. why some stranger?
"Well?" Felix sighed, "What's it going to be?
He pulled back his hood and walked in front of Eclipse, a frown etched over his face.
"I do have to get out of here before anyone finds m- Hey, what's all of that about? Your face is bruised up pretty bad. Why would…?"
Felix bit his lip. This was absurd. Also not the time to be feeling empathy. This was a high profile target, and he wanted to be dead anyway. But Felix didn't so much as move towards his weapons.
Eclipse stared at him for awhile, before starting to cry softly. He'd been asked that before. Why he looked like he'd been beaten up. And he'd always had to make excuses. Riding accident. Boxing match gone bad. Tripped and fell. All because it got worse whenever he tried to tell the truth. "Because every person in this f** castle hates my existence…" he answered quietly, still sobbing.
