"I guess. Just having someone here that doesn't belittle me or…" He whispered, before zoning out for a second. "Or want to destroy me, haha." He finally finished the thought. "People suck."

"Y-Yeah… they really do." Cas closed his eyes and sighed again, huddling a little closer to Sorrel. Nix meowed at him quietly, knowing he was hurting.
Sorrel laughed as Nix mewls reached him. "You two are awesome.." He muttered. He suddenly noticed how Cas was closer to him. "Aww, how adorable," He mumbled, quietly as he could.
Cas pulled Nix into his arms and held him close, relaxing a bit as he did so. He didn't seem to hear Sorrel's comments.
Sorrel brought his hands to both Nix's and Cas's heads, stroking them both. Cas seemed to like it, and most cats liked that kind of stuff. He hummed a little tune for them both, it was his favorite song.
Cas smiled softly and Nix started purring, which relaxed Cas more. "Thanks, Sor…" He mumbled, yawning a bit.
Sorrel knew exactly how Cas felt, after all, he fell asleep WAY too much by himself. He moved Cas into his lap, really gently. He put Nix on Cas's chest. "Sleeeepy…~" He said, with a softer laugh.
Cas blushed harder. "I'm just tiiiired…" He whined. "Don't make fun of meeee~…"
"Don't worry, I get it.." Sorrel giggled. He carefully rocked, as if Cas was in the safest cradle in the world. "Just got to sleep, cutie. If you're this tired, then you need it."
Cas huffed indignantly, closing his eyes and pouting. He huddled closer to Sorrel, but was clearly trying to stay awake.
Sorrel brought his hand to Cas's face, and pressed his fingers gently on the guy's eyelids, as if to close the eyes of the dead. "Sleep." He said, almost silently.
"B-But I already slept this morning…" Cas mumbled, growing noticeably weaker by the second.
"You clearly need more, and if I'm going to treat you further, I'd rather make sure you're awake than half-asleep." Sorrel said, with a small growl.
"Mmmm…" Cas huddled even closer, now just curled up in Sorrel's lap. After another minute or two of fighting sleep, he finally went limp.
Sorrel laughed as Cas finally went to sleep. He gently grabbed his phone, and began to research some cool things that Cas might enjoy. He found an interesting theme park that he knew neither of them had gone to, and began to think about it.
Cas yawned a bit and smiled softly in his sleep, seeming to be comfortable and content.
Sorrel stroked Cas's hair as he slept, and he kept scrolling through other things on the tourism site. He found a lot of things that seemed to be fun, and he wanted something specifically new. Something they could both see for the first time, instead of one sided amusement.
Cas cuddled into Sorrel's hand, smiling a bit more. Nix rubbed against Sorrel's hand as well and meowed quietly.
Sorrel found it, then. The most ideal thing for the both of them. It was a petting zoo, and an aquarium. Combo tickets were reasonably priced, too. "Sweeeeet…" He muttered.
Cas stirred a little at Sorrel's voice, but stayed asleep. Nix lay on Cas's chest, purring softly.
He bought them two tickets, and he also arranged a little ride to the place. He wanted to do something grnad, and subtle, for the guy he grew to love this much.
Cas slept for another half an hour or so before yawning and stirring again, opening his eyes this time. "Mmm… what time is it…?" He asked sleepily.
"It's only about 3:30." Sorrel said, with a smile. "I've been planning while you were asleep." He whispered, giggling a little bit.
"Planning what?" He asked tentatively, slowly growing more and more conscious.
"A surprise daycation." Sorrel said, with jazz hands. He was kind of excited for what he had planned.
