"Like, right now?? Should I change into something less bad??" Cas looked down at himself.
"Like, right now?? Should I change into something less bad??" Cas looked down at himself.
"No no, Cas, and you look just fine! It's tomorrow, you're perfectly fine." He said, instantly. He didn't want Cas to feel bad about himself.
Cas nodded, breathing a quiet sigh of relief. "I'll probably end up stealing some of your clothes if you've got anything small enough."
"I keep all of my older stuff, I'm sure you can find something." Sorrel said. He thought about all of his clothes, and if Cas would like them.
He nodded again, laying his head on Sorrel's shoulder. Nix was still asleep in Cas's lap and seemed content to stay there. "Is there anything else we need to do today?"
"I don't think so, honestly I don't do anything, so there's never a thing to do." Sorrel said, laughing softly.
"Alright. Is there anything else you want to do today?" He asked.
Sorrel thought for a second, before his eyes lit up. "What if we shot some fireworks up?" He asked, with the biggest smile.
"You have fireworks??" Cas asked, bewildered. "Why?"
"I like to party, all the time. By myself." Sorrel said, out of nowhere. He had a lot of things he could do, but refused to.
"Alright then, let's do some fireworks, I guess." Cas hopped to his feet, still not entirely sure what was happening.
Sorrel walked towards a closet, smiling wildly. He found a lot of old fireworks from last July, and purred. "These should do."
"Do they still work?" Cas asked, picking one up and examining it curiously.
"I don't know!" Sorrel exclaimed. "But I'm willing to figure it out." He added, with a smirk.
"Alrighty, then." He handed the firework to Sorrel. "One last question: is this legal?"
"Not at all, I'd suppose." Sorrel laughed. "Nothing ever is, really."
"Wonderful… let's try not to get arrested, hmm?" Cas followed Sorrel outside.
( lmao Cas, I love you )
Sorrel looked at Cas with a small bit of surprise, before setting a small box of the fireworks out. "Choose a few!"
(Lol)
Cas picked a bright blue firework and handed it to Sorrel. "I really shouldn't be trusted with fire, so I'll let you light them."
"Sure." Sorrel said. He took his lighter, which he'd randomly gotten, and lit the bottom of the firework. The think began to light up, and Sorrel scooped Cas up and ran. He made it just far enough away before thing flew up, creating some magnificent littler blue fireworks. Their sounds were beautiful.
Cas watched the firework go off, his eyes wide with awe. He'd never seen one up close before. He didn't even care that Sorrel was carrying him.
"Woah, that one's so pretty," Sorrel marveled. His eyes widened at the colors of blue, who knew there were so many? He noticed the fireworks getting… closer. He didn't even think about the sparks that may have gotten into the firework box.
Cas's gaze fell down to the box of fireworks and he froze. "Oh god… uh… S-Sorrel? We should probably get inside, like, now."
Sorrel was about to ask why, before suddenly he heard a loud wheezing sound. "Oh shit-" He said, before racing in. Good thing the house had screen doors! He got behind them, and shielded a lot of Cas's body in case it went wrong. The box flew up, then, exploding maybe only twenty feet in the air. Multitudes of colors fell from the sky, there.
