Raven smiled at hre again.
Raven smiled at hre again.
Sophie smiled back at her as the bartender brought over their drinks.
She drummed her fingers for just a moment, taking her drink.
“Cheers.” Sophie smiled as she accepted her own glass.
"cheers." she echoed.
“You wanna leave your tab open or close out?” the bartender asked.
“Leave it open for now, Bud.” Sophie nodded, pulling out her wallet.
Raven looked at Sophie, then the bartender.
“Alright. No trouble now.” Bud warned with a hint of playful teasing.
Sophie chuckled and shook her head. “I don't plan on it.”
Raven laughed a little. "We'll stay out of trouble."
Bud raised a brow at Raven but gave a small nod at her assurance. “I’m gonna hold you both to that.” he smiled before heading over to take care of another customer.
Sophie waited a moment before playfully sticking her tongue out at his back. “I don't get into that much trouble when I come here.” she told Raven.
Raven laughed at her. "You sure?"
“Yeah.” she nodded. “I mean, I may have gotten into a few small… instances but nothing serious.” Sophie shrugged.
She raised her eyebrows, letting out another soft laugh. "I see, I see."
Sophie smirked a little and took a sip of her drink.
She took a small sip of her own as well.
She hummed happily. “So good. You like yours?”
"Yeah. It's really good."
“Glad you like it.”
She smiled over at Sophie again.
Sophie smiled brightly back, wondering what else they could talk about as they enjoyed their drinks.
Raven's eyes flickered aroun the bar for a moment, before returning to Sophie.
The bar was really very simple with something of a classic style. Not much to look at on the surface but Sophie was clearly a fan of this establishment.
She smiled again, quiet.
Sophie perked up a little as she realized something about part of the reason why they had come here. “Oh, I almost forgot to ask you. Do you actually know how to play pool? Or would this be your first time?”
"I don't, no. Sorry." she smiled a little bit.
