“Ugh, not now…” she groaned, rubbing her forehead.

"You alright?"

“I… I’m… ok.” she groaned as she clenched her eyes shut, fighting against the pain.

"You sure?" she looked over at Jade, a bit worried.

“N… No.” she admitted through gritted teeth though she barely heard Raven’s question. There was always a substantial amount of pain Jade went through with these attacks, but this time there was also a bit of panic because of it happening in front of a complete stranger. She whimpered a little as she slowly slid down to the floor.

Raven crouched by her, worried. "Uh, shit, should I…is there anyone I can call?"

Jade shook her head as she tried to focus on her breathing. "It'll pass. It'll pass." she whispered. There was never anything anyone could do to stop or prevent these attacks… But the brief thought of Killian gave her an idea and she reached out her hand trying to grab hold of the other girl's.

Raven let Jade take her hand, unsure what was going on.

Jade let out a deep breath when she felt Raven's hand and gripped it tightly for a moment before tracing, admittedly complex, little patterns over it with her fingers.

Raven was quiet, letting her trace without complaint.

Jade whimpered again but softer, letting out a slow breath as she continued to focus on tracing the patterns.

She was quiet, just breathing and waiting.

Jade let out another slow breath and finally forced her eyes open.

She kept waiting, quiet.

Jade blinked a couple times, her vision blurry from the attack and caused a black streak to appear over the other woman’s face. “R… Rook?” she asked weakly.

Raven stiffened slightly. "What are you talking about?"

Jade blinked again and shook her head as the pain went away. “Ugh… Sorry. I… I get really bad migraine attacks sometimes.” she apologized not completely sure of what she just said.

"Uh huh. It's fine."

She smiled weakly as she slowly started to stand up.

She watched her, quiet.

“S… Sorry you had to see that.” she apologized before getting herself a glass of water.

"It's alright. Are you okay?"

“I will be.” she nodded before taking a drink. “Honestly, that wasn't even my worst attack.”

She nodded faintly, but didn't add anything else.

Jade sighed a little catching her breath before looking back at Raven.
