(Okie-dokie.)
Eventually, the mysterious woman reached another flight of stairs. Spencer warily followed her down them, knowing that if he got caught while on them that he might not be able to retreat. At the bottom, they took a left, which led them to a room where three(?) men sat around a desk. Noticing this, Spencer dropped back and listened from the hall.
“Public, then?” The first man said.
“Public,” the second man agreed.
The forgein man sighed and nodded, simply saying, “Yes.”
Anya thought fast, going through nearly every possible scenario in her head. If he has a gun…. and he does too…. I’m still okay…. if I move fast when all three have guns… eh, we’re good. She flipped out of her hiding spot and kicked the first man in the head, opening a cut and knocking him unconscious. The other two pulled out guns and fired, but Anya was already moving.
//I was thinking that (if it’s ok with you) Spencer could hear and run in?
(Sure, that's fine.)
Hearing commotion coming from the room, Spencer glanced around the corner. He saw Anya fighting the men he had seen inside, while the woman stood against the wall, a somewhat shocked expression on her face. Without thinking, he jumped into the fray.
"What. Do. You. Think. You're. Doing?" he asked Anya as he fought.
“Where the he#% did you come from?!” Anya said calmly, roundhouse kicking the second guy in the chest and then punching him in the face, knocking him out. She immediately moved on to the third, who was trying to decide wether to shoot at Anya or Spencer. He wasn’t a very elegant fighter, and Anya managed to take him out as well. “You got a plan?”
"The other door," Spencer grunted, ducking a fist that was headed straight for his face. "Yeah, I've got a plan: Knock all these guys out, tie 'em up, and search for the president."
The woman slipped into the shadows of the room, continuing to watch the pair of spies fight their opponents. A thoughtful expression crossed her face.
Anya nodded wordlessly and crossed the room to the woman. (Is that ok) In a flash, she had her in a loose chokehold. “Who are you?” Anya growled. “Also good plan Marcus. You start tying.”
(Of course it is!)
Spencer nodded, knocking the last man out before looking around for something to tie them up with. Finding that the only thing that could work was the curtains, he sighed and pulled out his pocket knife to cut them into strips.
The woman's eyes widened, and she struggled against Anya's hold. "I'm no one of importance," she choked out.
“These lies though,” Anya muttered, tightening her hold a bit and twisting the woman’s arm. “I’ll ask you once more, sweetheart. Who are you?”
The woman winced as Anya twisted her arm. "I was sent to prevent a major mistake from happening," she replied, tugging at Anya's arm that was around her neck.
Spencer tied the first two men up as he listened to Anya and the other woman. The third man started to wake up, but Spencer punched him in the head, successfully knocking him back out.
(This is the woman, btw: https://i.pinimg.com/564x/e8/7d/75/e87d75ce8c79baf36ee8fa9d2d3f26d8.jpg )

“Now, what mistake might that be? Sent by whom?”
"A very bad one," the woman choked, still pulling at Anya's arm.
Spencer tied up the last man, nodding once at his handiwork. He turned to face Anya and the blonde, narrowing his eyes at the latter.
“Seriously, man, details,” Anya said, holding her tighter. “I’ll say this once more. Who were you sent by?”
"I…was sent…by…the…Alliance," the blonde answered faintly.
Spencer's eyebrows furrowed. "And who – or what – is that?"
The woman struggled against Anya's hold, trying to get more air into her lungs. "Can't…tell… Under…orders…"
“Oh, shut up,” Anya said, squeezing harder. “What mistake now, hmm?”
The struggling got weaker as the woman started to give in. "Someone…murdering…" she trailed off as she passed out.
Spencer glared at her, then turned his gaze to Anya. "A little strong there, don't you think?"
“Okay, well, not my fault she’s a wimp,” Anya said, loosening her hold a bit but not letting go entirely. “So. Murder, huh? Let’s go investigate.”
Spencer shook his head at Anya's comment. "All right, then. Let's go," he said, already making his way toward the door he had come through.
“Alrighty.” Anya gently set the woman down and nudged her with her foot. “She’s out for reals, in case you were wondering….” She followed Spencer. “So how did you get here, anyway?”
(I'm not sure how much I'll be on the rest of this week or this weekend, I'm visiting fam.)
"I followed her. She was the person upstairs," Spencer explained simply.
//ok, no problem. I’ll post rn and um yeah :)
“The person, huh?” Anya smiled. “Okay. I thought heavy footsteps in a marching formation might be made by more than one person…. but hey, you found a person and we got some info out of her, so-“ Anya gave Spencer a thumbs up. “Good job.”
Spencer snorted. He was a bit miffed by the fact that Anya had choked out their best lead so far.
"Yeah, well, at least I found someone with information worth something to us. What did you hear from those guys before I came?" he asked.
“Murder,” Anya shrugged.
