Skye wanted to hug him tightly and say it was okay, but he wasn't sure what the other needed.
Skye wanted to hug him tightly and say it was okay, but he wasn't sure what the other needed.
Just keep your eyes closed and don't think about it. And stop shaking. Lucas opened his eyes to look at the fire again. For some reason, it made him feel slightly less tense.
Skye pulled back to watch him slowly, unsure of how to make him feel more comfortable.
You're worrying him… Lucas closed his eyes again. He didn't want to think about it. He tentatively moved a little closer to Skye.
Skye watched him, both concerned and perplexed.
This is so conflicting… I'm afraid of being touched, and yet, I think that's what I want- even need- most. Lucas wondered how he could make this less uncomfortable. "Y-You know… you're welcome to try whatever you want. It'll be pretty obvious if it's too much…"
Skye nodded, "But It's pretty obvious you're uncomfortable… I want you to be comfortable before I go doing anything…"
"I… I think I need this, honestly. T-The whole… physical aspect." Lucas lay his head on Skye's chest. "I'm not used to good touch. The kind that doesn't hurt. It could help with some of my anxiety."
Skye hummed in acknowledgment, gently pulling him closer.
Lucas's heart was still pounding, but he'd pretty much forced his mind to be okay with it. He tucked his head under Skye's chin and hesitantly put his arms around his neck.
Skye smiled softly, figuring this must be hard for the other, wanting to hug him tightly, but keeping his grip light as he rested his chin in the other's hair
I think I'm doing well enough, given the circumstances… Lucas sighed, his face flushed. He was still slightly nervous, but he could get used to this.
Skye squeezed him gently, wanting to wrap himself around the other.
"…I-I love you.." He whispered, holding tighter to Skye. It had been a long time since he'd truly felt love, but he was pretty sure that this was it.
Skye couldn't help grinning like a dork at that, hugging him tightly. "I love you too… "
Lucas's heart rate sped up at this, but he didn't stop Skye. He moved his head back and made eye contact with Skye, his face very red by now.
Skye was still grinning like a dork, and he blushed darkly when the other made eye contact, dark enough you could see it despite his dark skin.
(Ha Lucas blushing is always painfully visible since he's pale as hell)
Lucas hesitated for several seconds before kissing Skye. He didn't really have any negative emotions or memories to tie with this since he'd never kissed anyone before.
Skye made a small sound of surprise, returning it quickly, still processing that this was happening.
(Oof)
Lucas pulled away soon enough and hid his red face in his hands. "I… I-I'm so sorry… I-I should've asked first…"
Skye quickly pulled him into a hug, "Hey.. It's okay, I just wasn't expecting that from you…"
Lucas's heart was beating a mile a minute, and he felt like he was in a state of very mild panic. He was trembling violently as he wrapped his arms around Skye again.
Skye watched him with concern, trying to calm him.
(He's not really panicking, he just thinks he is because he doesn't understand love)
Lucas hid his face in the crook of Skye's neck, holding onto him tightly. He felt all tingly and strange, and he wasn't sure what to make of it.
Skye held him close, letting him process quietly, ready to be there for him when needed.
