"I-I just went out to get some food…" It hurts a little more than I expected… Lucas looked at his ankle and tried to roll it, flinching. Yeah, we're not doing that.

Skye noticed the other's movement, "Are you alright?" he asked sleepily.
Lucas nodded. "I just… uh… might've tripped while I was looking for food."
Skye hummed with concern, wrapping himself around the other.
"Nothing too serious… I-I mean, I probably sprained my ankle, but I've experienced worse pain than that."
Skye frowned, looking up at him.
"B-But it doesn't matter, since I won't be running today anyways, right?" Lucas laughed weakly. Damn, being positive is harder than I thought.
Skye shook his head, "True… but still…" he said softly, curling around him protectively.
"I'll be fine, Skye… don't worry." Lucas carefully folded his leg under himself, restarting the fire with magic.
Skye sighed, but nodded, finally noticing that Marco had vanished.
"Where's Marco?" He gave one of the fruits to Skye and took one himself, taking a bite out of it.
Skye smiled shifting to take the fruit, ending up on his side, curled around the other. "Probably hunting some extra food to go with this, and so that we can have something for lunch.
Lucas nodded quietly, staring at the fire again. He wondered how he was going to put it out. "When do you think we'll be moving again?"
"Whenever we're ready, though probably in the next couple hours." he said.
"Alright." Lucas finished his fruit and stretched, looking out into the tree for some sign of Marco.
Marco came back a few moments later with a wild quail, dropping it from his talons and landing a moment later, shifting a second after that.
"Nice! Should we cook it now or wait until a little later?"
"We cook it now while we have the flames, that way we don't have to do it later." said Marco, beginning to defeather it.
"I can always restart the fire, but sure." Once Marco had finished cleaning the bird, Lucas helped to cook it.
Marco smiled as the other helped cook it. "Yes, but a fire leaves a mark, and we want to leave as few of those as possible. Plus, cooking takes time"
Lucas nodded, shifting his position and wincing when he accidentally put weight onto his injured ankle. He kept quiet, though, watching the quail to make sure it cooked properly.
Marco made sure it fried evenly, before pulling it off and dividing it up, then tucking the rest away for later.
Lucas took a bite of his portion. He didn't really want to eat it all now, since he knew they would need more food later.
"Don't worry about eating too much," said Marco gently.
"Yeah," said Skye, "We can always go hunting again." s
(Apologies if there are spelling mistakes, my moniter is )
"I-I'm okay, really… I don't need to eat it all now." And hunting seems hard. I wouldn't want them to have to do it too often.
