Connie looked to the ground, kicking at a small pebble. Listening to her words, feeling terrible. "I'm really- wait, what?" She asked lifting her head to meet Emma's gaze. Did she really say her work was, inspiring? Emma Garcia, one of her biggest role models and inspirations, called her work inspiring? "I-it's really nothing special…"

“Nonsense, I haven’t seen anything like this before. You really have a lot of potential, you know. You’re lucky that you’ve graffitied my house, and not some snobby’s celebrities who would probably never forgive you and, uh, bring your belongings to the police.” Emma sighed and glared at Jackson who nervously chuckled and backed away a bit from Emma. “Talking about belongings, I have your belongings at my house, and I rather give them to you today than any other day, because there’s the possibility that’ll I’ll forget about them.”

"Yeah… that's been rather inconvenient, my stupidity at least." She sighed, seeing the line begin to move. "I'll catch you after the ride, I'm with a friend, and we were riding together." She smiled some going to turn around. "Thank you a lot Mrs. Garcia." She called over her shoulder, running off to catch up to Brett in the line.

Emma smiled as Connie had run up to catch up with her friend. Jackson cautiously approached Emma, not wanting to get her angry for his idea of bringing Connie’s belongings to the police. Amaya giggled when she saw how nervous Jackson was and lightly punched him in the arm. Honestly, the three were having so much fun, that Emma couldn’t be mad at Jackson or at Amaya.

“So, that went different than I was expecting it to go. You know, she deserved to be yelled at, or at least be threaten at. You know, just to spice things up.” Jackson said as he rubbed his arm. Emma rolled her eyes and walked forward as the line advanced, dismissing the fact that Jackson wanted drama to happen. If Jackson wanted drama, he could have gone to some sort of performance that would have a whole load of drama. Amaya tilted her head to the side, slightly confused on what they were talking about. Of course, Emma noticed how confused she was and proceeded to tell her what had happened last night, despite the fact, that she was there when it happened.

"Hey, you're back just in time," Brett said, sounding a little skeptical. Connie knew he was piecing things together, but she wasn't about to offer up information if he wasn't. "Yeah, the lines were long, and I saw this line moving, so I rushed back." She shrugged, walking forward in the line with him. She wasn't lying, the bathroom lines were incredibly long, and she saw this line moving. So with the exception of one tiny detail, she told the truth. "Oh, I see." He responded pushing through the gate over to the set of swings.

No matter how Emma had tried to entertain herself, she still was bored, and she could see that her siblings were too. That’s how life worked at times. Half of the population of the world was having fun, while the other half was doing something boring, or something tiring. Emma sighed, stretched a bit, told her siblings to save her spot and then left to see how long the line was. Well, the length of the line certainly surprised her. Somehow, the line had managed to get even longer, which made her wonder if people had started cutting. At the rate of how the line was moving and the ride, she was sure that by the time they would be able to go on, it would be night already. “Great, just great.” Emma said angrily as she walked back to her spot in line, where her siblings were saving it for her.

The two had ridden the ride, and gotten off in what seemed like seconds. It was honestly rather disappoint considering they stood in line for 40 minutes. Connie was already running off to one of the other lines, before a thought popped into her head. "Wait, I'll be back, save my place." She shouted, running back to the line they had been in. She ran along the side of it, looking for the famous face of Emma Garcia, catching a glimpse of her. "Hey! Emma!" She whisper yelled to try not to catch a lot of attention.

Emma looked up and waved at Connie, who wasn’t to far away. Jackson and Amaya has got tired of waiting in line and had left to buy some food. Emma was sitting on a stool on one of those water games, that was so close to the line, holding a elephant she had won while Connie was on the ride.

Connie skipped over to her, and smiled. "Where and when should we meet so I can come get my stuff?" She asked, getting straight to the point. She skidded in front of her, and stuffed her hands in her jean pockets. 'I should have brought a jacket.' Her thoughts echoed, as she thought about the chilly night coming. If she had to walk, that wasn't going to be fun, and in no way would she tell Brett she was cold.

“Well, there’s a park near my house, so we can met there.” She paused and looked at her wrist, which had a watch. She sighed and then looked back at Connie. “I’ll still be here for about another hour, so we can met up around six thirtyish. Does that sound good to you?”

@spacebluelily language

“Right, later. My advice is you better go back to your friend before he gets suspicious and worried and well you know, starts wandering around, screaming your name, etcetera.” Emma said as she crossed her arms and sighed when she saw her siblings come back with a whole load of food.

"Oh- right… Uh yeah, I'll see you at 6:30." She said, at the mention of Brett, she half-heartedly walked off, semi regretting the fact she had come with him. "Yeah, later." She repeated, coming back to the line the two of them had come to. "Hey, back." She smiled some, and Brett smiled back. "Everything OK?" He asked her tenderly, watching her duck under the chain link fence. "Yeah, fine."

An hour later

Emma slammed the door of the car shut, and then picked up the box of Connie’s belongings that she had put on the ground before leaving the car. She walked down the sidewalk, straight into the park, walked down the dirt path, until she reached the middle of the park with the big marble statue. She sat on a nearby bench and waited for Connie.

Connie had finally escaped, the rather persistent Brett. She was strolling through the park, humming softly to herself. "Lovely night." She whispered to herself as she came up to the other side of the big marble statue. She leaned against it, humming to herself.

Rustling was heard from the nearby bushes, and a cat came out of the bushes, hurt, dirty and tired. Emma immediately noticed the wounded animal, even though the animal had come out of a side that Connie would see, and Emma, not so much. She rushed over to the animal, with the box still in her hands. As she approached the wounded animal, she noticed Connie leaning on the marble statue. She put the box down, and it made a loud thump. She did this to get Connie’s attention, knowing that it would work. She picked up the cat, but not before the cat hissed at her.

“It came out from the bushes. Poor kitty, it’s all hurt, afraid, dirty and even tired.” She responded without even looking up. She sighed and examined the cat to see in what condition the cat was in. A couple of seconds passed and she sighed. “The cat will be fine, but it needs someone who’ll take care of it while it gets better.”

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"Can you not?" Connie questioned coming up next to her and bending over to pick up her box. "I mean, like are you unable to? Because I might be able to…" She suggested, crouching down and standing on her toes trying to keep her balance.

@spacebluelily language

“Sadly no, my siblings are going to stress the cat too much, seeing that they’ll be living with me for a while, and stress isn’t healthy for a animal that’s trying to recover.” Emma patted the top of the cat’s head, making it purr. Her eyes immediately looked at Connie who picked up the box. “Actually, maybe I’ll keep your stuff.” Emma said jokingly.

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"W-what? Why?" She asked now, not wanting to deny her anything. Though she kinda needed her stuff, otherwise her parents would probably kill her. She glanced at Emma, and then the kitten, and frowned slightly. What was she going to do if Emma really did want to keep her stuff? Especially like her ID, and money.

@spacebluelily language

”I was just kidding. You should’ve seen the look on your face. You were so surprised, but somewhat angry at the same time. Now, tell me, why would I want to keep your stuff, when you certainly need them more than I do? Well, it’s not like I need your belongings and all that stuff.”

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"I-I don't know, I just-" Connie bit her lip, feeling rather stupid for believing she was really going to keep her stupid things. After all, she could eventually get them replaced. "I don't know…" She repeated, a more sighing tone than before. "It's just stuff, not that big of a deal."
