Joey nodded and climbed onto the back of the bike, getting himself adjusted so he felt secure. "Sounds good to me."

Taking the now-familiar route from the shop to Sol’s apartment, it’s not long before they arrive.
Joey climbed off the bike and followed Sol inside, a bit windswept from the journey. "So, did you decide what you wanna watch?"
“How about Avatar?” Sol asked, holding open his door for Joey as they went in.
"The movie or the TV show?" Joey asked curiously. "I'm fine with either."
“Hmmm… I do like Avatar the Last Airbender, but how about we watch Avatar with the blue people?” Sol chuckled. “I think we’d get to invested in the show, and you need to get to sleep at a decent hour.”
"Mmm… sure. I haven't seen the blue people one before." Joey sat down on the couch with Sol and freed his wings, stretching out with a relieved sigh.
Following Joey’s example, Sol shrugged off his jacket and extended his wings with a roll of his shoulders. “It’s nice to be able to have my wings out in front of someone else.”
"Yeah, it is… using the glamour all day makes me pretty tired." Joey laughed softly and stretched his wings out again, starting to preen himself.
So nodded with a content sigh, draping his wings over the back of the couch. “I don’t usually glamour mine, but they get cramped when I gave them retracted all day.”
"Yeah… I can't really retract my wings, and they're too big to hide with just… you know… big clothes."
“It would be nice if we could just keep them out all the time, wouldn’t it?” Sol sighed. “You’d think a couple hundred years would be enough for me to be used to it.”
"Yeah, it would be nice… the humans don't like it, though." Joey sighed softly. "They don't like things that they don't understand, and that's what we are. We're just things to them."
Sol growled softly. “You’re right, and I hate it. Humans can be so… ignorant. Not just about the concept of nonhumans. It’s frustrating.”
Joey nodded a bit, fidgeting with his hands. "We're really not all that different from them, you know? We just… have wings."
“And magic,” Sol agreed. “I have fought beside humans, called them my friends and family, but the differences are enough to drive most away.”
"Yeah… I don't really have much magic. I can do the glamours for my wings, but not much else." Joey huddled closer to Sol, closing his eyes.
Sol hummed, wrapping an arm around Joey. “I have elemental magic, like most Fey, but I use it minimally these days.”
Joey nodded a bit, relaxing into Sol's touch. "Yeah… angels don't generally use a ton. Sometimes they use it to get down to earth and back, though."
“Makes sense,” Sol replied, cuddling Joey closer. “If we ever go to my homeland, I can show you Fey magic.”
"Okay!" Joey smiled a bit, his wings fluttering. "What kinda stuff can you do?" He asked curiously.
“I have basic control over the four elements,” Sol explained. “My sister is much stronger than I am, but I can summon fire and control existing water and earth.”
"That's cool!" Joey grinned up at Sol. "That's a lot more than I can do. Can you show me some?" He asked hopefully.
Sol smiled and held out his hand, palm up. Seconds later, a soft orange flame came to life in his hand.
"Coooool~!" Joey gasped a bit, still smiling brightly as he admired the flame. "Does it come in handy often?"
