Joey trilled softly, his wings puffing up again as he returned the nuzzling. He couldn't help but grin brightly, settling his knees on either side of Sol's waist.
Sol couldn’t help the purr that came from his chest as he rested his hands on Joey’s small waist and smiled back at him. “Estello, estello,” he murmured happily.
Joey wrapped his arms around Sol's neck and stretched his wings out behind himself, fluttering them a bit and nearly knocking a couple of things off of the table behind him. "T… tesoro!" He grinned sunnily up at Sol, seeming to be in better spirits than before. You wouldn't even know he'd been crying if there weren't still drying tear tracks on his cheeks.
Sol laughed and leaned forward, pressing a kiss to each of Joey’s tear stained cheeks. “Your smile is so beautiful,” he said, arching his own wings around them slightly.
Joey blushed again, his smile softening as Sol kissed him. "Mmm… thanks, I guess. Yours is nice too!" He folded his wings and held on a bit tighter.
Sol sighed happily, holding Joey closer and bumping their noses together. This felt so… right.
Joey closed his eyes, seeming pretty content for the moment. "What time is it?" He asked after a couple of minutes. "I should probably go back home at some point…"
Sol glanced up at the clock on the wall. “It’s about six thirty,” he replied, looking back at Joey’s face. “I can give you a ride home, or you could stay in the spare bedroom if you’re really tired.”
"Mm… I can stay a bit longer, and then I should probably go." Joey sighed softly, pouting a bit. He didn't really want to leave when he was having so much fun. "I gotta work tomorrow… maybe you can stop by!"
“I’d love to stop by,” Sol said with a smile. He couldn’t help but think that Joey’s pout was adorable. He fluttered his wings, causing them to slightly brush against Joey’s.
A chill ran down Joey's spine and he shivered, arching his back and holding tighter to Sol. "Maybe you could bring in some of your friends, too! I'd love to meet them!"
Liking his reaction, Sol brushed their wings together again. “Hmm… I could bring Akali or Nikora, they might be free tomorrow.”
Joey shuddered again, tightly gripping Sol's shirt and burying his face in his chest. "O-Okay. Sounds… sounds good to me!"
“Great, I’ll message them in the morning,” Sol said, grinning slightly and pressing a kiss to Joey’s hair.
"Okay!" Joey huddled a bit closer, humming happily. "Oh… you're probably still hungry, right? You never got to eat."
Adjusting his arms to hold Joey, Sol nodded against his head. “A bit, but I can wait,” he said.
"You don't have to… I can wait in here if you wanna go eat." Joey paused before starting to slide off of Sol's lap.
Sol caught him and brushed their wings together. “I can eat after I take you home, I don’t mind.”
Joey sighed softly and quivered again at the touch. "But I don't want you to be sitting hungry for my sake…"
“I’ve gone longer without food, I promise I’ll be fine,” Sol reassured with a smile. “Besides, I’d rather sit and spend time with you.”
"Mmm…" Joey buried his face in Sol's shoulder, holding a bit tighter to him. "But I don't want you to be hungry if you wanna eat…"
“I’m fine, I promise,” Sol said, wrapping an arm around Joey’s waist.
"Okay…" Joey didn't seem entirely convinced, but didn't push the subject any further. He just huddled closer to Sol, wrapping his legs around his waist and latching on to him.
Gently rubbing circles on Joey’s back, Sol chuckled. “You’re like a koala,” he said against Joey’s hair.
"Mmm…" Joey smiled softly and hid his face again. "Um… what other 'get to know you' questions do you wanna do?"
