George's eyes followed the bird's movements as it flew by. He exhaled slowly, tilting his head to one side. Why was it scared?

Bailey seemed to have noticed as well, then came to a rearing halt. Ahead of them, a brilliant white creature, obsidian black eyes: a buck the color of the moon, staring back at them, frozen in its tracks. Dirt caked the animal's antlers, and strings of shredded, frozen grass.
George pulled on his horse's reins until it came to a stop, a chill running down his spine. "Bailey…" he whispered, wide-eyed.
Bailey was entirely appalled. He looked as pale as the snow, frozen still, a fog over his eyes. The deer stared back at them– a female, actually: males grew antlers in the summer for mating, while females grew theirs in the winter.
( Forgot that fun fact)
(ooh)
George, on the other hand, was in awe at the beautiful creature ahead. "Bailey, look at her.. she's so beautiful…"
Bailey's horse reared its head and pawed at the cold ground. The deer burst off into the woods in a startled run.
Bailey let out a long exhaled, as if he'd been holding his breath.
George stared after the creature, his eyes still wide.
Bailey looked downwards, for a long time, breath fuming from his mouth in a thin vapor.
George glanced to the side. "Bailey.." he breathed… "It was so beautiful.."
"I know." He whispered.
He exhaled heavily, and turned to leave.
Mirelle said nothing. She just looked at her feet.
Skip?
(Sure! To?)
Peter n his girly?)
(Oh, okay! Are you going to be Peter?)
I can be his lady, since you know peter better)
(Oh, okie!)
What's her name? 😅)
(Elizabeth XD)
Oke tx )
Elizabeth held up Peter's wet shirt to the sun, "Peter?" She called, before pinning iton the line with the others. "Peter, did you ever hear back from John?"
Peter pressed his lips together and stood to walk over to her. "No, darling, why do you ask?"
"I'm just thinking," she replied in a bit of a sigh. "You two have been friends for a long time…"
"I know." He whispered.
"I've never seen a deer like that before.." he murmured, still slightly in shock.

Bailey was stone silent for a very long time. Finally, he lurched his horse forward in a lame trot, his expression almost wounded.
“Bailey?” George questioned softly, urging his mount forward.
