"Hmmm, but I'm hungry…" he whined softly against his mouth

“Alright…one more kiss,” Nick pecked him and walked to the kitchen.

Jas smiled and followed behind him, hoping up onto the counter watch while nick cooked "So whatcha gonna make?"

“I’m thinking pork fried rice,” he flipped the spatula while taking it out the drawer.

He nodded "Sounds great. you know how to make it?" He asked, leaning his head on his leg that was propped up on the counter

“Yeah, why wouldn’t I?” He grabbed a pan and started to add the ingredients putting seasoning but not too much.

He shrugged "never knew anyone who could make it properly at home."

“Well, now you do. I am a cook after all,” he grinned moving the pan and the rice around.

"mmm, are you now? Since when?" He asked with a tilt of his head

“Since, 10th I think. I work at the Asian restaurant right down the street,” he smiled. “Took time off for two weeks since I always work extra shifts.”

"oh ok. Thats cool." He hopped down from the counter and wrapped his arms around Nick's waist, watching him cook over his shoulder

A few minutes later and it was done. "All finished!" Nick exclaimed. "Can you get two plates from the cabinet please?"

He nodded and headed over to the cabinets, pulling out a pair of plates along with some silverware. He set the plates on the counter so Nick could fill them with food. He headed over to the table and set the silverware down

Nick transferred the food to the plates and turned off the stove. “Dinner is served,” he set the plates down and sat down at the table. He took a spoon and started eating.

"yay! I'm starving." He sat down across from Nick and started eating. "This is amazing! We need to have you cook more."

"Thank you," he smiled and continued to eat. "I have work tomorrow so, I'll be gone for the day unless you want to come with me and be a waiter."

"aw ok. I'm not that good with people so probably not. Thanks for the offer." He said with a small smile

Nick chuckled, "I was just kidding. Anyway, what will you do tomorrow? Work on your status as a Hero?" he asked, taking another bite.

He shrugged and smiled "maybe. Probably start compiling a list of people to look out for."

“Alright,” Nick said eating the last bite. “Be safe tomorrow okay? I’m going to take a shower,” he said putting his dishes in the sink. Nick walked to the room and into the bathroom then turned on the shower.

"I will." He reasured, getting up as well to start cleaning the dishes with Nick showered

Nick washes his hair and steps out the shower. He started to change and then laid down on the bed.

Once done, Nick headed to the bedroom and flopped down next to Nick, only now realizing how tired he was. "hm, comfy." he curled up in the blankets and Nick's side.

Nick chuckled and kissed Jas's forehead. "I wish you the best sleep tonight my love," he whispered.

"only when with you will I sleep well." He rested his head on Nick's chest, tracing the well know faint scars that peppered the others chest beneth the shirt
