Alexa found it strange that his action felt so soothing to her. She decided not to dwell on it and glanced over at him, "Yes, well after a while you sort of figure out what feels right. I also typically only dye the tips of my hair because it's less of a hassle."
"Then how come I've never seen your hair different colors?" He asked, carefully massaging the color in. "Or am I just a blind idiot?"
"I had them in when we first got to New York," Alexa responded feeling that he was doing a decent job at the moment, "But I dyed them that first night in the hotel to black."
"Oh. So I am just a blind idiot then." Arson snorted. "Figures. Not that it surprises me." He grinned. "How many colors have you tried dying it before?"
"Once I dyed my tips the rainbow for June," Alexa shrugged a little. Though it was minimum movement as to not disturb him, "Cause ya know, pride month and everything. That was fun since it really was how many colors can I get in my hair at once."
Arsen laughed slightly. "How many colors did you manage to get into your hair? Or did you just put in the typical six colors of the rainbow?"
"At least seven," Alexa responded humming a little, "I put indigo in as well. But I managed a cool effect where it looked like they all blended together. You might want to put more dye into my hair."
"That's cool." Arsen raised an eyebrow. "You already have a lot in. How much more do you need?" He did as she said, though, squirting more of the dye onto his gloved hand and applying it to her hair.
"Enough that when I rinse it out all the color won't come out," Alexa told him raising an eyebrow and looking at him from the mirror, "Which can be a problem after so much dying."
"I'll pretend I know how much that is." Arsen snorted. "Do you want me to use the rest of the bottle, or do you want me to save some for later?"
"Don't use the whole bottle," Alexa responded looking at what remained, "After this round I'll probably rinse my hair and see how much more I need to put in."
"Alright." He finished rubbing the dye into her hair and carefully closed the bottle. "Well, think that might be good. Then again, I'm not exactly the leading speaker words on how to dye hair, so…"
"It looks good from here," Alexa responded standing up and turning around to face him. She gave him a little smile as she took her gloves off, "You might want to leave since I need to shower to rinse it out."
"You mean I can't watch you?" Arsen whined, jokingly. "But I could learn so much from watching you shower!"
"Yeah, you would learn that you're a pervert," Alexa responded starting to push him out of the bathroom.
"I already know that," Arsen said, choking back a laugh at her quick refusal. It wasn't that he was serious, but it was fun to tease her.
"Oh? You already know you're a pervert? Good, now get out," Alexa let out a little laugh as she smiled at him.
"Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!" Arsen rolled his eyes and laughed, returning her smile and, after a pretended reluctant moment, left.
Alexa shut the door behind him and went to rinse out her hair. It didn't take long and she came out with a nice head of strawberry-ish red hair. Not quite as dark as she would have liked it, but at least it was red.
"You look… different," Arsen said, blinking at the change that had occured on the young woman in front of him. "I almost don't recognize you."
"Even more different than the blonde?" Alexa asked as she walked up to where he was. She was towel drying it even though it was staining the towel, "I'm shocked."
"Yes. Red hair makes you look more… innocent." Arsen smothered a smile. "Are you really that shocked, though?"
"I mean a little. I thought the blonde was bad but apparently red does a better job," Alexa ended up sitting down, "And innocent? I guess cause it's more of a strawberry color."
"Yeah. It does make you look more innocent." Arsen sat on the counter and leaned back on his hands. "And if you make your expression milder, then it will be even better."
Alexa scrunched her face up in response to that before letting it fall relaxed. It was a practiced action and it showed, "So I look super innocent right now? That just feels weird to think about."
