"You do," Arsen said, laughing. "Does that offend you? Because I'd think it'd be a compliment." He grinned. "Then again, I don't know the minds of girls."
"You do," Arsen said, laughing. "Does that offend you? Because I'd think it'd be a compliment." He grinned. "Then again, I don't know the minds of girls."
"No, most girls would call it a compliment," Alexa told him crossing her arms and letting her face fall back to its usual demeanor, "I don't. I enjoy being able to intimidate both boys and girls with my looks."
"But this way no one will suspect that it's you." Arsen sobered. "I hope we aren't recognized."
"Yeah, I guess they wouldn't," Alexa sighed as she went to run a hand through her now red hair, "You on the other hand might be a teensy bit suspicious."
"Probably." Arsen shrugged. "Maybe I'll just get a fake mustache or something. Or not shave."
"You shave?" Alexa asked him with a raised eyebrow not quiet believing him, "But that might work along with the colored contacts."
"I do," Arsen said with a sniff. "Hair grows on my face, and I don't want it there. But I look different, so… it could work."
"It might, except your beard hair will be darker than your hair hair," Alexa pointed out still unable to grasp the concept of Arsen with any semblance of a beard, "So we would probably need to dye it as well if possible."
"That's true…" Arsen sighed dramatically. "So, should I, or should I keep my handsome face unmarred?"
"I think you should," Alexa commented after a moment, "It'll make you more unrecognizable than if you didn't. We might be able to get away with not dying it for a while."
"Alright." Arsen leaned back against the wall. "Is dying a beard even possible if it's only a bristle?"
"I mean, once it gets to a certain length I'm sure you can," Alexa responded with a shrug.
"But that takes days," Arsen mock complained. He walked over to the fridge and opened it, picking out a can of sparkling water and popping the lid open. "Do we have any plans yet as to what we'll do while we wait for the resistance to meet with us?" He asked, taking a sip.
"Lay low and move only when need be," Alexa responded with a little sigh as she watched him. She smiled a little as she watched him, "Besides, you'll have plenty of time to grow your beard while we hole up in here."
"Yeah, I know," Arsen said, putting the can down on the counter. "But what should we do during that time? Should we just stay and watch movies while we wait? Or what?"
"Well, do you have a deck of cards?" Alexa asked a little going immediately to cheap and reliable source of entertainment, "Otherwise I guess we could watch a few movies."
"I don't," Arsen said. "But maybe we could ask the front desk if they have any? I know a few good magic tricks."
"The front desk might have some… But…. Give me a moment," Alexa replied going over to where her stuff was. She rummaged around for a bit before grabbing a deck and walking back to Arsen, "These should work."
"You had some all this time? And you didn't tell me?" Arsen looked offended, but his eyes sparkled. "How dare you. feel very much hurt."
"I thought I had some," Alexa responded opening the back up and began to shuffle them, "Since, you know, I don't have a lot else to entertain myself with."
"Do you just play endless Solitaire, then?" Arsen asked, sitting on the couch, watching her. "That seems kinda lonely."
"Sometimes," Alexa shrugged a little, "Normal I have siblings or someone close that's willing to play with me."
"But you brought it along. Were you going to play with me?" Arsen asked.
"No, no I brought it for solitaire," Alexa admitted as she finished shuffling.
"I was gonna say… I thought you used to hate me." Arsen stood and walked over to her. "So, what do you want to play?"
