"That's a good point," Alexa rubbed at her face as she thought, "You wanted me to dye your hair right? If we're gonna try and do anything we should get our hair dyed at least."
"That's a good point," Alexa rubbed at her face as she thought, "You wanted me to dye your hair right? If we're gonna try and do anything we should get our hair dyed at least."
"Yeah. That would be nice, thanks." Arsen shook his head. "But I feel like we need something more than different hair and clothes." He shrugged. "Not that I have a clue as to what that would be."
"If we could modify facial features that would be best," Alexa responded hopping off the counter so she could go to her bag with all the dyes and contacts, "But I don't have anything like that with me. I have colored contacts if you want to try and use that."
"Sure, why not. Blue eyes are kind of easy to remember." Arsen shrugged, following her. "I wish we did. Maybe I'll get one of those fake mustaches from the dollar store. It will be great."
"Okay, they're a bit itchy to begin with but you get used to it," Alexa walked in and bet down to look through her bag pulling out any cosmetic supplies she had, "What color do you want? For the dye and eyes."
"Blonde for hair. Or some crazy color. I'll even go with pink. For the eyes?" Arsen chewed his lip. "Brown," he decided. "It's the most common eye color."
Alexa let out a laugh as she pulled out the bleach to get rid of the brown and the some of her blue and green dye, "I have blue or green for other colors, I could maybe get pink though. I have red dye and I could just go light with it."
"Green works." Arsen shook his head. "Unless you think I'd look better as a Christmas tree." He gagged. "Have you seen some of the hairstyles out there? They're awful!"
"I know!" Alexa responded grabbing the bleach and her sea-green dye laughing a little. She debated for a moment before grabbing her scissors as well, "Good thing your in my hands and I've done this before. Come on let's head to the bathroom."
"Oh no." Arsen looked fearfully at the scissors in her hands. "I'm starting to regret letting you be my hair stylist. Please don't cut off my ears!"
"Oh don't worry," Alexa rolled her eyes and began to make her way to the bathroom in her room, "I had been cutting my younger siblings hair for years before I went to Tanama."
"Before you went to - " Arsen shook his head. "But… my ears… my poor ears!" He shook his head with a grin.
"Your ears will be fine," Alexa said reassuringly as she started to bring him along with her to the bathroom, "I promise you that much. I won't cut it if you don't want me to."
"No, I trust you." Arsen shrugged. "I'm practically deaf, anyway. It's because I've been around you, hearing you talk too much. I've lost my hearing."
"Oye, I do not talk too much," Alexa brought him to the sink where she could easily get his hair wet and apply the dye, "Put your head into the sink. Face the ceiling if you would please."
"Fine." Arsen gave a mock-offended sniff. He did as she said, although twisting and holding his body that way was very uncomfortable.
"Hmmm let me get a chair so you don't look so uncomfortable," Alexa left the bathroom to grab one of the dining room chairs bringing it back into the bathroom, "Okay sit and do what I just told you to do."
"Yes, mother," Arsen grumbled, but sat, and did as she told. He had never had his hair cut by someone before, having taught himself to when he was seven, after his mom died.
Alexa thought for a moment before turning the sink on to get his hair wet, "Do you want to get it dyed or cut first? Your choice."
"Cut. Then you don't waste as much dye, and we can use it for later on."
"Got it," Alexa responded moving his head so he was sitting up. His hair was a decent length and she was debating how short to cut it, "How short are you okay with it going?"
"Well, not bald. I'm okay with pretty much anything. My hair grows pretty fast." Arsen glanced at her. "Besides, you seem to have an idea as to what to do."
"Okay then," Alexa measured the length of his hair before snipping away. She continued to do so until it was a lot shorter than before, and even all the way around.
It felt kind of nice, not that Arsen would ever admit it. He had never had his hair cut by someone else before, so the experience was… nice. It was new.
Alexa did a bit more trimming before putting the scissors down, "Okay that's done. Ready for the dye?"
