Connor laughed, looking at Wilhelm. "Well, would you rather not look at it, then?" He replied with a grin.
Connor laughed, looking at Wilhelm. "Well, would you rather not look at it, then?" He replied with a grin.
“No, no. I rather like seeing myself.” Wilhelm shrugged nonchalantly, alluding to the countless times he had spent in front of either the window or a mirror.
Connor shook his head, chuckling. "Mhm, I can tell." He replied, setting the painting on the desk.
“Oh? What are you implying?” Wilhelm sat back on his bed, back resting against the wall. He pulled off his sweater, smoothing and adjusting his uniform shirt.
"Someone's a little vain." Connor replied with a smirk, running a hand through his hair. His hand left a streak of paint on his forehead.
Wilhelm clutched his chest in mock offense. “Well, I never!” He scoffed, trying to hide the smile on his lips. The boy tilted his head, pointing to the same spot on his forehead that Connor had gotten paint. “You’ve got a little something right here.”
Connor grimaced, and licked his finger, rubbing at the paint spot. He only succeeded in smearing it around. Not that he knew that.
“Ah..” Wilhelm pressed the pad of his thumb against his teeth. “You just.. smudged it. Do you need help? I have a handkerchief somewhere..” He glanced around his side of the room, searching for the fabric square.
Connor sighed loudly. "Damn it." he muttered. "Uhm…" he wasn't sure if he needed help or not.
“Scheiße, wo ist es?” Wilhelm mumbled to himself, searching a bit before finding the handkerchief. “Ah. Here you go, if you need it.” The German boy held up the fabric.
(i’ll be honest, the German I use is from Google translate, so it’s not gonna be perfect, but I think that this is solid enough)
Connor shrugged a little bit. "Nah, I'll be fine." he replied with a smile, stretching.
“Ah, alright.” Wilhelm set the handkerchief on his bedside table, yawning. “God, what time is it?”
Connor shrugged. "Dinnertime?" he suggested, running a hand through his hair again.
“Ah, it’s got to be. The common room’s gone practically silent.” Wilhelm beckoned to the door, where the surrounding area outside had fallen dead. “Should we go?”
Connor nodded, standing up and stretching. He had a strange way of stretching, where he pushed his hands out in front of him, back arching a little bit. Like a cat. "Yeah, sure."
Wilhelm leapt off of his bed, his dark eyes giving off a puppylike energy that was hard to ignore. “Off we go, then.”
Connor smiled a little bit at the sight, and put his paints away carefully. "Alright." He replied. He wondered where they would sit. With Romeo and Claude? Or not?
Wilhelm slung his red pullover his shoulder, finger hooked in the collar to keep it in place. He considered not sitting in his normal seat for a moment— the tension between him and Romeo was too tight. It did dawn on him, however, that there weren’t many other options.
Connor adjusted his sweater. His pale, thin fingers were still stained with paint, though that would eventually wash off. There was still that faint smear by his hairline, and somehow he had managed to get it on his lower lip, too.
“Hey, uh.. you’ve got paint on your lip..? Somehow?” Wilhelm chuckled a bit, opening the door and looking back at Connor.
Connor licked his lips a little. "Oh, ah can taste it." He replied, grimacing. "Oh well. It'll come off eventually." He replied with a smile.
“Why would you- yeah, alright.” Wilhelm walked out of the dorm and into the hallway, rocking from heel to foot as he waited for Connor.
Connor followed Wilhelm out of the dorms with a faint smile. He sighed softly. He wanted to ask where they would sit, but…he sighed softly.
“Are you okay with sitting in the normal spot? I find that there aren’t many other spaces to sit..” Wilhelm pursed his lips, looking forward at the expansive hallway. He locked his fingers behind his head.
Connor shrugged. "Ah dinnae have a preference." He replied slowly. "But what aboot yeh?"
