Fyn trailed after her, "Don't chicken out now Megan," He whispered when she peeked around the corner.
Fyn trailed after her, "Don't chicken out now Megan," He whispered when she peeked around the corner.
"I'm not," Megan whispered, but she really was. She waited for him to turn – left – before she followed, hurrying down the hallway.
He rolled his eyes and shook his head with a smile, taking his time as he followed her and silently hoping this would work out well.
Megan peeked again. He was at his locker, alone. He pulled out a duffel bag and headed off again, toward the locker rooms.
"Catch up to him before he goes into the locker room," he whispered somewhat urgently to Megan, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Why?" she whispered, but listening to the angel nonetheless.
"Because, it's been too long since I've seen you and a guy talk as maybe more than friends," He replied, smiling, "Plus, even I can't help wanting to see how this turns out."
"What am I going to say?" she asked worriedly.
"Tell him you like him back, compliment him a little, you know, the works." He patted her shoulder and smiled, "You can do it."
"I can't tell him! He'll think I'm weird," she doubted.
(If you want, you should join this rp! https://www.notebook.ai/forum/roleplaying/the-jewels-choir-open#post_1516495)
(I'll check it out :) I don't know if I'll join though, I'm going to be super busy over the summer and I don't think I'm going to join any group rp's, sry)
"Megan. He just called you pretty and got close enough to you that you two could've kissed. He's not going to think you're weird," Fyn reassured her, "Now, go talk to him before he goes into the locker room."
(Nah, it's cool! I understand, I just really need people.)
Megan took a deep breath and called out, "Justin!"
He turned to face her, a shocked smile on his face. "Megan?"
She slowly approached him. "Uh, sorry for bothering you…"
He grinned at her. "Nothing with you is ever a bother."
Megan blushed quickly.
Fyn stayed silent once Megan started talking, excited to see how this would end.
"So what's up? I have to change for swim practice," he said, motioning to the locker room.
"Tell him how you feel about him," He offered quietly in Megan's ear, "Or just if you two can talk later, just don't chicken out."
"D-Do you want to, uh, meet up later?" she asked shyly.
He grinned. "Sure! You can watch my practice if you want."
A smile appeared on Fyn's face but he didn't say anything, wanting to see what Megan would do without his help or suggestions.
"Oh! Uh, sure!" Megan squeaked.
He grinned wider. "Awesome! You know where the bleachers are by the pool right?"
"Yeah," she breathed.
"Well…" He arched his eyebrows.
"Oh! Yeah! Okay!"
He laughed. "See you out there then."
She nodded.
"That, was kind of embarrassing to watch, but still fun," Fyn said with a quiet laugh, "How was talking to him?"
"The scariest thing I've ever done!" she replied with a huge smile.
He laughed again and looked around, “Well Megan, shall we go watch him practice?”
She nodded eagerly. "C'mon, it's this way!" She hurried to the door a little bit more down the hall.
He followed her, making himself semi visible for a moment before vanishing again, a proud smile on his face as he stayed silent.
"You think he likes me?" she asked excitedly.
“I’m sure he likes you Megan,” He replied, laughing lightly.
