He nodded, "Alright then, I just want to make sure they won't be able to see or hear me when they get here."
He nodded, "Alright then, I just want to make sure they won't be able to see or hear me when they get here."
She reached out her hand slowly. "Can you touch my hand? I… I just want to know you're still here." She knew she was probably sounding stupid, but she could care less.
"Of course," He reached out his hand and placed it in hers, hoping that she could feel his hand in hers.
She felt his hand and smiled. "I can feel you," she said softly.
He smiled and nodded, "Remember that if you ever need to know I'm there you can just ask."
She nodded with a small smile. "I will."
A knock on the door startled her right before it burst open. Her family was home.
Fyn let go of Megan's hand and turned to the door, watching her family carefully like he always did.
Megan smiled hollowly at her parents and sister and helped make dinner. Fyn is somewhere, watching me.
He indeed was. At that moment he was hovering in the air near her, giving her space but also sticking close by incase anything happened.
"So how was school, Meghan?" her mother asked.
"Oh, it was okay," Meghan said quickly, not looking up from what she was doing.
Fyn kept his silent watch, not wanting to interrupt Meghan or startle anyone if they could hear him.
"Why is my best knife in the sink? I didn't even use it," her mother remarked.
Meghan's ears turned pink, and she hid them with her hair.
(Timeskip?)
(Sure, should I post again before the timeskip or not?)
(If you want you can. If you can't think of anything, don't stress about it.)
(My mind is quite blank right now so just skipping would be nice)
(Okie! Skip to when…?)
(Whenever, it’s up to you:) )
(Okay!)
Megan walked into her first period class the next morning, tired but hopeful. She couldn't help herself looking around occasionally and expecting to see Fyn.
Fyn had stayed invisible all night and the next morning, putting a soft hand on Megan's shoulder whenever he thought he needed to, which included when she walked into her first period class.
She felt the touch on her shoulder and turned around to see… no one. Fyn, she thought happily, and a small smile settled on her lips. However, it didn't last long.
Without looking, Megan walked right into Savannah. "Oh, I'm sorry," she said quickly and quietly. "It was an accident."
Savannah didn't see it that way. "You'd better watch where you're going," she snarled and shoved Megan backwards.
He closed his eyes and winced, wishing he could become visible and help Megan. Instead he settled his hand on her shoulder again and hoped she would stand up to Savannah.
Feeling Fyn gave Megan extra confidence. "Savannah," she said firmly. "Please stop."
Savannah's eyes narrowed. "What did you say?"
Megan took a slow breath. "I said… please stop."
A smile appeared on Fyn's face and he squeezed her shoulder gently, happy to see her standing up to Savannah.
Savannah advanced quickly. "You got a problem, Meg?"
"Please don't call me Meg," Megan replied softly, yet steadily.
"Just tell her to leave you alone and walk past her," He offered suggestions very quietly in her ear, not knowing if an of the other students could hear him if he talked louder.
