He nodded, "Yes, they do, we don't talk, but we can see each other." He said, finished with cleaning up.
He nodded, "Yes, they do, we don't talk, but we can see each other." He said, finished with cleaning up.
"Does…" Megan swallowed, then finished. "Uh, does Savannah have one?"
"Yes, yes she does," He said, nodding again, "Even if she doesn't deserve one, she still has one."
Megan winced a little. "Oh…" Queen gently pawed at Megan's leg and meowed quietly.
Fyn focused on Queen and his eyes widened ever so slightly, "Your pet's not going to hurt me, right?"
Megan looked down at Queen, who's wide blue eyes were shining with light. "No, she wouldn't hurt a fly," Megan assured him, stroking her cat's head again.
"Alright then." He said, relaxing slightly and wandering around the kitchen, "Well, what do you want to do now? You're parents and sister should be home soon if I remember, right?"
"Yeah. Can they see you too?" she asked worriedly.
He shrugged, "I honestly don't know, maybe they will be able to, maybe not."
"You should hide. I don't think that they'll take seeing you very well."
Fyn nodded, "Where should I hide? I don't really think I can disappear again." He looked around for a decent hiding spot, one that her family wouldn't look.
"You can… stay in my room?" she suggested hesitantly.
"Will your family look for me there?" He asked. He knew a lot about her family, but again, he didn't know what was going through their minds.
"Probably not," she replied, smoothing her hair. "Are you sure that they will be able to see you?"
He shrugged, "I have no clue, they may be able to see me, they may not. I'd rather not find out and have it end very badly."
"True." She checked the time. "We still have about 15 minutes. Is there anything you want to do?"
Fyn shook his head and started wandering around the room, "Nothing in particular, unless you want to do anything else."
"I have a question, actually," she said slowly, thinking of how to phrase it.
"Yes?" He replied, looking over at her and getting ready to answer any question she had.
"What should I do about Savannah?" she whispered, looking down at her shoes. Her eyes were clouded with shame.
He bit his lip and walked over to her, gingerly wrapping her in a hug, "Do the best you can to stand up to her. Don't let her get to you and know that I'm always here to help you, even if I can't directly intervene."
Megan found his touch relaxing. "I… I'll try. I promise that I'll try."
"Thank you," He said softly, "I think that you can stand up to her and I believe in you."
"How am I supposed to stand up to her? It's been… years." She shivered absently. Savannah had been torturing her since they were in the fourth grade. Megan was not expecting it to stop anytime soon.
He thought about it for a minute before answering, "Stay away from her as much as you can..stay around people if she's around, fight back if they're still pestering you."
