Alex frowned in thought. “I’m not sure if we have to be married. I don’t think we do. But we’d have to be here a lot, to prove we could be suitable parents for her. That might be something of a problem, since she’s so young…”
Alex frowned in thought. “I’m not sure if we have to be married. I don’t think we do. But we’d have to be here a lot, to prove we could be suitable parents for her. That might be something of a problem, since she’s so young…”
“I could take work off. If I needed to. I don’t have another film or show planned yet,” Autumn said, chewing on her lip as she looked up at him.
Alex nodded slowly. “I suppose that could work until she’s comfortable with me. Let’s try and figure something out with her parents, first.”
Autumn nodded. “Of course. So… Would that mean that I would be living here, then?”
Alex blinked at her slowly. “I…I suppose it would.” He smiled a bit. “If that’s okay with you.”
Autumn grinned up at him and kissed him lightly. “Of course it’s okay with me. I practically live here anyway. I’ll just have to get some of my things from my house.”
Alex kissed her back, smiling. “Wonderful. Would you like me to help you when the time comes?”
“That sounds like a good idea. For now, though, you should probably go get some clothes for our young guest,” Autumn giggled, pushing him away from her playfully.
Alex “awww”ed playfully and sulked off. “Okay, okay, I’ll be in the attic…. all alone….”
Autumn sighed and rolled her eyes. "Here, come back and I'll give you something for good luck."
Alex bobbed back over happily, grinning. “What’re you gonna give me?”
"A kiss," Autimn laughed before pressing her lips to his gently.
Alex pressed back, smiling. “A wonderful parting gift,” Alex purred happily after the kiss.
Autumn laughed and kissed him one last time. "All right, lover boy, go get the clothes."
Alex giggled and wiggled away again, bobbing over to the trap door in the ceiling and opening it.
“I’m on my wayyy! Ooooh~” He sung to himself as he went up into the attic.
Autumn chuckled and made her way back into the bathroom. “All right, he’s getting some clothes for you, now. Did you find the shampoo?”
Jilly looked up when Autumn reentered. She nodded in response to the first portion of her spoken thought, but shook her head at the second.
Autumn walked over and grabbed a container from a ledge before handing it to Jillian. “Here you go. Let me know if you need any help with anything.”
Jilly looked down at it. She wasn’t sure how to wash her hair. Her mom always said to use very little.
“Do you need help with your hair?” Autumn asked softly, moving to sit beside the tub.
Jilly turned to look at her and nodded. “Y-yes please,” She said in a soft voice.
Autumn gently took the bottle from her and opened the cap. “How about I show you how to do it? That way, you’ll know for next time,” she suggested softly.

Jilly turned to look at Autumn and she nodded a little. “Yes p’wease.”
(Lol.
Also… I think most ten-year-olds know how to talk normally…
Sorry…)
“All right. Can you hold your hand out for me, then, please?” Autumn asked with a smile.
