Skye eventually shifted, running as fast as he could, as far away as he could, being sure to stay in the sunlight as much as possible.

Arie sighed again.
"Damn it."
(We need to getv them back together.)
(Yeah, but how? Arie can't really move…)
Uhm….. Idek….
We may need to restart…
Oh! What if something started chasing Arie, and she had to run towards Skye.
Possibly. Though Skye is in no way gonna help her…
What if she yells at him to run?
He'd probably run anyway, away from her, and the creature, but if he had the chance he'd be inclined to throw her to the creature so he could get away.
XD, yeah, this could be good…
True. Since basically he's gonna treat her like an enemy. And not the kind he would show mercy too.
so, wanna do it? I have a funny idea for when he throws her at it.
EVIL LAUGH YESS LET"S!!
XD Okay, here I go.
Arie was dozing, leaning up against her tree still. A twig snapped. She eyes darted open, looking to where the sound had come from. A deep growl sounded through the woods.
"…Crap." She darted away, not trying to avoid the sun.
"Of all the days to have a fecking dragonling chase me, it had to be today."
Skye continued his fast pace, still planning on never coming back.
Arie ran, dodging trees and other obstacles. The dragonling roared, giving chase.
Skye thought he heard something, but paid no mind.
Arie was catching up to Skye, but she didn't know that until she spotted him in the distance. Whenever she had to dart into the sun, she gritted her teeth and tried to ignore the stench of smoking vampire.
Skye was upwind from her, but he did hear the dragon's roar from behind him.
Arie continued to run, the dragonling smashing down trees behind her.
"I WOULD RUN!" She yelled to Skye.
Skye picked up the pace. I already am!!!
Not fast enough! Arie had nearly caught up with Skye.
Skye pushed it, pulling ahead. HOW THE HELL ARE YOU EVEN RUNNING THIS FAST?!?!
I'M A FECKING VAMPIRE! IT'S WHAT WE DO!! Arie kept running. The dragonling roared again, uprooting any trees in its path.
