Skye shivered at her voice, but was unable to move, the sound of his own breath seeming to echo in the darkness.
Skye shivered at her voice, but was unable to move, the sound of his own breath seeming to echo in the darkness.
Arie strolled away, already looking for more prey.
It was a long time before Skye found his ability to move.
Arie spotted another person. Walking silently up to them, she grabbed them around the neck, like she had Skye. She felt their neck break.
Skye eventually got up, his hands still trembling as he pulled out a dagger, still tense and uneasy.
Arie pulled the corpse into the darkness, still in Skye's general area, and bent her head down to take a bite.
Skye heard something in the darkness nearby, visibly paling, fearing another like Arie was near.
Arie sunk her teeth into her victim's neck, locking her lips on its skin so no blood was lost. She sucked quietly, relishing the feeling of warm blood flowing down her throat.
Skye quickly shifted to Wolf form, his fur the same color as his hair, and his size much larger.
Arie quickly finished her meal. Her prey was white as a ghost now, drained completely of blood. She licked her teeth marks, and they soon disappeared. She couldn't have people thinking there were vampires in town.
Skye padded out of the alley, his ears back, and his tail held low, clearly afraid.
Arie laid the body deep in the shadows, where it would be hard to find, even in the light. She stood and gracefully stretched, her midnight snack finished.
Skye continued to walk, tense and wary. His paw hurt from where Arie had drawn blood, and he headed for the inn nearby.
Arie walked along in the shadows, her petticoats swishing around her legs with a soft sound.
Skye thought he heard something, but forced himself to ignore it.
Arie chuckled to herself, then began to sing in a soft voice.
One, two, we're comming for you
Three, four, better lock that door.
Arie spotted Skye. She crept up behind him again.
Skye shifted to step up to the inn, still very wary.
Arie started humming again.
Skye suddenly whipped round, backing away as he shifted bck to wolf form.
"Hello, wolf," Arie gave a cold smile.
Skye let a low growl rise in his throat, to try and hide the fear.
"I saw a wonderful clip from a game, once. A twilight princess forced a human-turned wolf to be her steed. I've always wanted to try that." She ignored Skye's growling, unfazed.
Skye backed away even more, his amulet starting to glow slightly.
Arie advanced on him.
"Perhaps now is my chance."
