(Hm…. interesting >:) )
Arie stepped closer to Skye, leaning down to look him straight in the eyes.
"You don't scare me, puppy dog."
Skye did the only thing he could think of. He lashed out at her, a burst of power propelling him forward, a mental attack on her mind accompnying the physical one as he knocked her down and dug his claws in, his fangs digging into her shoulder.
Arie laughed. She liked a fight. She wrapped her hands in his fur, her right hand gripping the gem.
Skye suddenly yanked away from her, the amulet digging into his neck as he pulled it and himself out of her grasp. Shifting he held onto his amulet tightly, a blade in hand, auras surrounding him.
"Ah, protective of the amulet, are you? I think I'll take that first." She bared her fangs at him, corrosive saliva dripping from them.
Skye backed away. Time to run Skye…. he thought, calling out the command for both a binding, and paralysis and a burst spell, blowing her backwards and paralyzing her, as well as wrapping her in chains. Then he shiftd and bolted, using his powers to portal ahead by several meters every fw steps, running for his life.
Arie screeched. She sank her fangs into the chains, eroding them. They dropped off. She struggled to move, fighting the paralysis spell. She shifted into a bat, and transformation took the spell off her. She flew after Skye.
Skye trcked her location with telepthy, running as fast as he could through the trees, warping past any obstacls.
Arie flitted through the trees, gaining on Skye. She was flying in random patterns, to keep him from having a chance to hit her with another spell.
Skye suddenly shifted, still running, suddenly he lept over gorge, twisting nd sending a mass wve spell, to paralyze anything in his path.
Arie darted up, flying high into the sky to avoid the spell. She also got a clear view of the area around them.
The spell continued to expand in a sphere like wave, And skye sent a second, more powerful one before landing smoothly and shifting bck into stride.
Arie shrieked, then dive-bombed, unaware the spell was sphere shaped. She hit it, and was paralyzed. She continued to fall, soon hitting the second wave.
Arie crash landed ahead of Skye. She tried to groan, but she couldn't. Her eyes darted up. She had crash landed in an open patch of grass.
When the sun came up, she would die a slow, agonizing death.
Skye stopped a few feet away, realizing she couldn't chase him, he would've run right then and there, but something told him he should stay.
She managed to close her eyes. She couldn't muster the energy to transform.
Done in by a wolf…
Skye hesitantly padded closer, wary, and ready to bolt.
Arie heard Skye getting closer, but she couldn't do anything.
Why did you attack me? he asked, reaching out hesitantly.
Honestly? I was on a kill high.
That's disgusting… replied Skye, But… what even are you?
Isn't it obvious? I'm a vampire. Arie would have smirked, had she had control over her face.
"Figured…" said Skye aloud.
Arie rolled her eyes.
