(It's a Mexican vampire-like dog thing that drinks the blood of animals) It looks kinda like this, but bigger for this (like, horse size)

"Darling, go get him," Arie instructed.

Skye ran faster, suddenly dropping all the illusions in exchange for his warping ability.

Darling howled, giving Arie time to climb on. They gave chase.

Skye heard the howl, and his ears flattened, and he pushed to run faster, but he was already exhausted.

Arie and Darling were easily catching up.

Skye was panting for breath, forcing himself to keep going.

Darling was nearly in catching distance. (Trust me, let them catch you)

(There ain't no way he's getting away…)
Skye suddenly stumbled, falling to the ground, panting for breath as he tried to get up.

Darling leaped, pinning him to the ground, even though it was probably unneeded. Arie slid off. She strolled over to Skye, bending down to look him in the eye.

Skye flinched as he was pinned down, shifting back to human form, still gasping for breath.

Arie bent so close as to fell his ragged breath.
"I. Win." She leaped up, speaking in a happier tone.
"I win! I win I win I win!"

Skye gaped at her, his eyes wide with shock.

She was acting like a little girl.
"I win, you lose!" She laughed happily.

Skye stared at her in pure shock, still breathing hard.

She sat down next to Skye. She waved Darling off, who took her paw off of Skye.

Skye wanted to move away, but he was completely exhausted, and therefore didn't bother.

Arie looked at Skye. She wasn't looking at his face, though. She was looking at his amulet. It was very pretty.

Skye reached up to grip it, glaring at her.

Arie swatted his hand away. She just wanted to look at it, for now…

Skye moved it to the chain, still not letting go.

"Why does it mean so much to you?" Arie asked.

"It's a symbol of who, and what I am." he said, "It's linked to my life force…"
