Logan scoffed softly and shook his head. "You're special to me, dear. You're special to Jay and to Raz. You deserve any and all praise and love. You think we care whether or not you deserve it? Especially after changing our lives for the better?"
"Logan, I was just here. And Jay did just as much of the changing as I did, if not more. Please, give the praise to the right person."
Logan frowned slightly and gently tilted Jackson's chin up. "I'm not saying Jay hasn't changed our lives. He definitely has and for the better too. Look at how happy he makes Raz. I can't thank him enough for that. But you're the one who has my heart. You've changed my life. You make me flustered and giddy and so happy. How can I not thank you for that, my angel, hm?"
Jackson leaned into Logan's touch with a heavy sigh. "I don't know. I'm just bad at accepting compliments. I spent so long hating myself because the only person I ever wanted to be proud of me rejected me so violently. Now my heart finds every word fake, any sentiment a lie. I want to believe it, to be happy with you, but I don't know how to bring down the iron walls."
Logan flinched slightly, remembering back to when they had first ket, how he had made fun of Jackson for being so clingy. Now he could't imagine being apart from Jackson. He gebtpy nuzzled Jackson's brow, "then let me help you. Not through force or through fear but with time." He pleaded, brushing a soft kiss to the bridge if his nose.
He smiled softly, nuzzling into Logan. "Of course bean. That was the plan from the beginning. I can't just let you go now, I could never."
Logan mented into Jackson's embrace. He hadn't realized how desperately he needed some like Jackson in his life until he had him in his life. "Good, I don't plan on leaving your side any time soon or later." He pressed kisses to Jackson's brow.
"I'd certainly hope not. Not when we're about to get married. Unless you're just using me for my money, that is."
"no sweet angel, I'm not marrying you for money. I marrying you because I love you Jackson, more than anything." He reassured, burrying his face in the crook of his fiance's neck.
"You're adorable, bean. Far cuter than my heart can handle. You're bad for my health." Jackson giggled as Logan's eyelashes tickled his neck.
"you're not allowed to die twice, sweetheart. I'm not allowing it." He pressed a kiss to Jackson's cheek before gently pulling away. "Come on, let's get some sleep, it's getting late and I'm sure these two could use some alone time." He nodded towards the kitchen before disentangling himself from Jackson and tugging at his arm
Jackson let himself be tugged up, chuckling at Jay's now awake but still quiet demeanor as he snuggled into his husband. "Yeah, I think they deserve it."
Logan nodded, giving a small wave in goodnight to Raz and Jay as he lead Jackson to their room "they definitely do." He whispered in reply with a smile.
Raz gently nuzzled back as they swayed in the kitchen, gently combing through Jay's hair and humming softly
Jackson dropped onto their bed with a chuckle. "What about us? Do we deserve the rest too?"
Jay rested his forehead on Raz's shoulder, taking slow breaths and appreciating the familiar and comforting scent that clung to ever inch of Raz's skin.
"yes, we do. I'm still exhausted from planning the wedding. Logan plopped down next to Jackson, pressing a light kiss to his temple before curling up against his side. "But I'm very excited to start planning our own.
Raz glanced over and kiss Jay's neck, pressing into his form and moving his hands from his hair to his back rubbing small circles against his spine.
"It'll be fun. And very colorful. I refuse to have a wedding that's not doused in rainbows. Or at least some kind of color."
Jay hummed happily at that, pressing soft kisses up and down Raz's neck.
"oh color is an absolute must. None of this all white traditional weddings, though I can definitely see you in an elegant ivory, dear angel." He giggled and nuzzled Jackson's head. "What colors were you thinking?" He asked, a smile falling on his lips as they talked through their early wedding plans.
Raz' eyes fluttered shut as he leaned his head against his husband's chest. "Like that don't you, my beautiful creature?" He purred softly, pressing a kiss to the corner of Jay's mouth. "Is there anything you'd like to do or do you want to go back to bed?" He asked, pulling back slightly to look at Jay
"Hm…blue, definitely. And maybe purple? Would that clash? I suppose it depends on the shade but it could go either way."
"Mm, can we go on a walk? I know it's late but I need the air and I don't wanna go by myself. Besides, I wanna go out with you, we haven't really left the house since we got back."
Logan thought for a moment before shaking his head, "I don't think so. Maybe choose one as a main color and then the others as accent colors. We can also padd a metalic to that like silver." He suggested, excited to talk about their wedding.
Raz pulled back gently to look at his husband "sure. I'd love to go on a walk with you. Just give me a minute to grab a jacket and to tell Logan and Jackson we're going to be out." He pressed a kiss to Jay's lips before going breaking away and going to their bedroom
"Ooo, I like the sound of that. Jewel tones are my absolute jam but I'm also a literal jeweler so that makes a lot of sense."
Jay leaned against the front door and waited, soaking in the warm silence of the place he'd come to know as his home.
"it does make sense." Logan giggled, tugging the covers around them for warmth. He glanced up when a knock came to the door. Raz poked his head in and gave a sheepish smile. "We're heading out for a bit to get some air. We'll be back soon."
Logan nodded "alright, well be here." He reassured, watching as his friend silently shut the door. Raz grabbed a light jacket and his keys before meeting Jay back by the door and pulling on a pair of shoes.
Jackson just nuzzled into Logan, taking in his warmth and scent when the conversation died out. "You're so cozy."
Jay flashed a smile when Raz came back. "Ready? Cause there's a late night doughnut with my name on it waiting for me."
Loganlaughed softoy as he tugged Jackson closer. "You're more than welcome to stay here all you want then, dear." He cooed, brushing a gentle hand along his fiance's cheek.
Raz nodded as he tugged on his jacket. "Ah so that's why you wanted to leave." Raz chuckled lightly as he unlocked the door and tugged up open. "But nonetheless, I'm down for a nice late night dessert."
"Good because I'm never leaving." Jackson gave him a squeeze, smiling softly. "You wouldn't leave me either, right?"
"Well, it's part of the reason. Another part is I just want some alone time with you away from our loving yet suffocating roommates."
Logan laughed and shook his head, burying his nose in Jackson's hair. "No my angel. I could never leave you or your wonderful cooking. I love you far too much." He pressed a kiss to affectionately nudged Jackson's head.
"Ah I see now. So a full week alone on our honeymoon wasn't enough?" Raz teased, gently lacing their hands together and pressing a kiss to the back of Jay's. "Though I can't complain. I'll gladly take any and all time with you." He tugged Jay through the door and into the night, staying close by his husband.
