Ana smiled and nodded. “Sure. Do you want to walk there, or do you want to go back to school quick so we can drive?” She asked, grabbing her drink and standing up.
Ana smiled and nodded. “Sure. Do you want to walk there, or do you want to go back to school quick so we can drive?” She asked, grabbing her drink and standing up.
Olive did that same, immediately going to Ana's side. "Well, it's not too far so let's walk." She said, smiling. She started walking, staying close to Ana's side until they got to the door, she moved and held it open.
Ana walked next to her until they reached the house. “Thanks.” She murmured, walking in and going to throw her empty cup away. Olive’s house was nearly a second home to her, she’d been there so many times. “What do you want to do?”
"I don't know… it's nice being home this early." Olive said with a little laugh. She fell back on the couch, letting out a satisfied breath.
“Yeah, it’s so calm.” She sighed, walking over and laying down, stretching her legs out across Olive’s legs.
Olive smiled, she was just so happy. She glanced over at Ana. She accidentally made eye contact but kept her smile. "Um, we could watch a movie or play a game or nap…"
Ana watched her, not really hearing her. She tilted her head slightly and frowned, wondering how she never realized how perfect Olive was. What did I even see in Madeline? She asked herself, smirking slightly.
"Uh, Ana, is everything okay?" Olive asked, a little confused. She saw Ana's frown and grew slightly concerned.
Ana narrowed her eyes and sat up. She leaned forward and pressed her lips against Olive’s, brushing her hand over her cheek. She pulled away and flopped back again onto the couch, leaning her head back and closing her eyes. “Everything is perfectly fine.”
Olive's eyes went wide processing what exactly had just happened. Her lips curled into a small smile. She looked over at Ana, her smile growing. She leaned forward and did the same. Her lips lingering there for a bit.
Ana opened her eyes, raising an eyebrow at Olive with a slight smirk. “Hey, Liv.” She murmured, slipping an arm around her waist and pulling her close. “You’re so..perfect.” She added, researching her other hand up and brushing it through Olive’s hair.
Olive couldn't hold back a smile. She draped her arms around Ana's neck. "Do you even realize how long I've wanted this? It's been forever…" She then leaned her head onto Ana's shoulder, still smiling.
“Really? You should’ve told me.” She replied, closing her eyes again and gently stroking Olive’s hair. She didn’t usually like being this close to someone, but it was different with Olive.
"No no… I couldn't have… I didn't want to ruin our friendship. And besides, you never saw me that way." Olive explained softly. She also closed her eyes, loving being this close to Ana, finally.
“I don’t know. I think I did, just didn’t realize it until now.” She replied, laughing softly. “It’s weird. Took me so long to realize that I’d rather be here with you than anywhere else.”
Olive lifted her head and opened her eyes for a second to peck Ana's cheek. "Oh man, I love you…" Olive whispered, almost to herself" She replaced her head on Ana's shoulder to rest.
“I love you too, Liv.” She said quietly, shifting slightly so Olive could be more comfortable. She rubbed small circles against the small of her back, letting her shoulders relax.
Olive let out a breath and a smile. This was all she had ever wanted, to be cuddled close to Ana. She slowly started drifting off into a sleep with happy dreams of Ana.
Ana dozed off as well, waking up a couple hours later and shifting uncomfortably. She sat up with Olive in her arms. Careful not to wake her, she silently carried Olive upstairs and laid her down, planning on letting her sleep while she got their stuff from school. It was lunchtime so no one would care if she left.
Olive curled up once Ana placed her on the bed. She continued sleeping, but for only ten more minutes. She woke up confused. Why in the world was she in her room and not on the couch with Ana? She sat up and looked around. Well, she was in the clothes she was wearing, so it had to be real. Just that thought made her smile. She pulled out her phone to text Ana.
Hey, where'd you go??
Getting our stuff from school. Be back in a few :)
She texted back, nearly back to Olive’s house.
Once she got there, she headed back upstairs and put their stuff by the door, curling back around Olive and kissing her happily.
A smile grew on Olive's face. Oh man, she loved Ana. She cuddled up to Ana, closing any remaining space between them. "Did anyone say anything to you?"
“Mm..not really. Got a couple weird looks but that’s nothing unusual.” She replied, nudging her face against Olive’s gently. “Have you been asleep this whole time?”
(Jeez, I just went back to my template for Olive and I guess I put that she's a huge band nerd in a whole bunch of band-related things. lol how did I forget about that and totally dismiss it? Welp, I'm just gonna pretend I never wrote that lol)
Olive nodded slightly. "Yeah. When I texted you is about when I woke up."
(Pfft haha)
“Okay. So..I guess..Liv, will you be my girlfriend?” She asked, gazing at her hopefully.
