"This." He held up a little, metal bee, carefully painted to look a bit more real. "It flies and buzzes and it can deliver notes."
"This." He held up a little, metal bee, carefully painted to look a bit more real. "It flies and buzzes and it can deliver notes."
He gasps and makes a soft "Awwww" sound. He looked absolutely fascinated. "It's adorable! Have you given it a name?" He asks cheerfully, scooting closer to get a better look.
He shook his head. "Not yet." He replied, blushing faintly at the compliment to the bee.
He smiled a little, "Do you want to give it one?" He tilts his head a little bit, sting cross legged as he looks over the tiny bee.
He shrugged. "Yeah, uhm, probably."
He grinned at that. "What's a good name for a bee?" He wondered to himself, leaning back a little in thought.
"Mm…" He trailed off, thinking. "I don't know. A flower name?"
"Oh I love flowers! What about Azalea? Chrysanthemum? Lilac? Oh! Lavender? Dahlia?" He lists off a few, a bright smile on his lips.
"Azalea." He said softly, stroking a finger over the metal of the bee. "I think I like that."
Apollo nods, seeming satisfied. "That is a pretty one." He murmured warmly. He pulls his knees to his chest and gave a satisfied sigh.
He tucked the bee in his bag, looking over at the other man.
Apollo beamed at him, his eyes warm. "What are you thinking?" He asks curiously.
He blinked, smiling a little in return. "I don't know. I'm just…surprised you actually came back."
Apollo chuckled quietly, "Of course I'd come back! Learning about you and your creations is fascinating. Plus I like talking to you! Why wouldn't I come back." he hummed happily.
He shrugged a little, looking away shyly. "I just…figured you had more important things to do."
He shook his head, "Not really no." He smiled softly. Well… he did have important things to do, but being a god meant occasionally he could take some time off. He was an all powerful god after all.
He bit his lip for a moment, then nodded for a moment. "Oh." he felt very awkward about all of this.
He chuckles softly, "I like spending time with you, so I think that's important enough." He murmured warmly.
"Thank you." he said in a quiet tone, rubbing a finger over the bee again, biting his lip faintly, unsure still. He didn't konw what to do now.
"Of course." He says warmly. He hummed in thought before smiling. "Do you want to go explore?" He asks cheerfully, standing and offering his hand.
He blinked up at the god. "I…what if we get lost?"
"If we get lost it's another adventure, isn't it?" He asks cheerfully. "Plus I have a knack for remembering which way is which." He tapped the top of his head. his other hand still offered to help the other up.
"The labyrinth…moves. Sometimes." he replied. "If we get lost and it moves, we will die." he studied Apollo, whose true identity he still didn't know.
Apollo hummed at that and shrugged. "You get through it pretty easily right? After all, you get here and back safely." He settles back beside the other. "But we don't have to if you don't want to." He offered a warm smile. "I'm a good fighter, I could keep you safe if you want."
"That's different." He replied. "It's a short distance and I've marked it." He didn't know what to do.
