Simon was sleeping peacefully, knowing he was safe as long as he was in the god’s arms. He was really beginning to like this life he’d found for himself.

Astral fell silent, not falling asleep but still holding Simon to himself. He hoped Simon really would be safe and happy here. He closed his eyes, just letting himself rest with Simon.

Simon seemed like he would stay asleep until woken up, which was good. He really did need the rest.

Astral eventually fell asleep himself, and would stay that way until morning. He hummed some as he did, head tucked against Simon's hair.

Simon would end up waking up early the next morning, considering they both did fall asleep rather early. But even as he woke up he didn’t make any moves to get up. It was just….he was comfy, okay?

Astral woke up a few minutes after Simon, looking down with a small smile.
"Morning…" The god yawned some, hugging Simon a touch closer.

“M-morning.” He stammered out, a bit surprised, not knowing that Astral was up. He looked up at the other, smiling softly.

Astral chuckled faintly as Simon stuttered, hugging him.
"Did you sleep well?"

“Mhm…how about you?” He asked. “I wasn’t too uncomfortable was I?”

Astral smiled softly, his head moving closer.
"I slept wonderfully, with you in my arms…" the god hummed some, setting his chin back on top of Simon's head.

((That’s gay))

Simon blushed softly. “W-well that’s good to hear.” He said softly, a wide smile on his face.

Astral smiled when he heard Simon stuttering again, his eyes closing a moment as he began to gently rub Simon's back.
"Mm… I must admit, I quite enjoyed sleeping with you again…"

((every conversation they have sounds like flirting lmao))

“Well..maybe we could do it again sometime?” He offered, still very much blushing. But Astral wouldn’t be able to see with him still hiding his face.

"I'd like that, very much," Astral said, smiling softly. He pulled Simon closer, humming with his grin. He still had his eyes closing, moving to gently bury is head in Simon's shoulder and neck.

Simon smiled widely, wrapping his arms around Astral’s neck, pulling him closer.

Astral let out a happy hum as he was pulled close. He nuzzled a bit closer, Simon held to his chest.
"Mm…"

Simon laughed softly, very very comfortable with this current position. He smiled up at Astral.

Astral smiled back, very content to not move and just be with Simon.
"Mm… Comfy~.." Astral chuckled some, holding Simon closer.

Simon blushed some, laughing along with the other. He rested his head onto Astral’s chest.

Astral settled some, hugging Simon still.
"Mm…" He sounded so content, nuzzling his face into Simon's neck and shoulder again.

Simon giggled softly, getting settled down again. “Someone seems happy.” He commented.

Astral chuckled some, nuzzling a touch closer.
"Well, this is something I can be really happy about…" Astral opened his eyes, looking at Simon a moment.

(Me: Astral hasn't ever really loved someone before and he's willing to just jump in)

Simon blushed more, resting his head on Astral’s chest again.

Astral hummed some pushing his face into Simon's hair again. He very very very secretly placed a kiss there, blushing some himself.

Simon noticed but of course he just thought he was making things up, so he didn’t say anything.

Astral didn't say anything either, just smiling like a schoolboy as he nuzzled closer. He let out a content hum, eyes closing as they cuddled.
"Mm…" Astral was quite content.

Simon was actually really okay with how small he was in Astral’s arms. It made him feel really safe and secure and cared for.

It was a good thing Simon felt that way, because he was. Astral hummed softly in content as he held Simon close, another secret kiss finding its way into Simon's hair. He smiled some to himself, thumb beginning to gently rub small circles into Simon's back.
