"That's a good question. Mind if I lay with you if you do?" Hazel asked sleepily. "I actually get, like no sleep."
"That's a good question. Mind if I lay with you if you do?" Hazel asked sleepily. "I actually get, like no sleep."
"I definitely do not mind." Lexi scooted over and made space for the both of them.
Hazel curled up to Lexi and smiled. "Thanks," She cuddled closer.
They stayed there for 10 minutes before Lexi had to stretch from becoming uncomfortable on the hard metal. "Ow. I thought the blankets would be comfy but it only lasts for so long."
"That's true, Hazel replied. "We can go nap at my place?"
"Sure." Lexi climbed down to the first floor and noticed a lot of the toilet paper had been removed. She took their stuff and put it in a cart nearby and helped Hazel down.
"Thank you. Let's go!" Hazel almost ran for the door, hoping that sleep would come to her.
Lexi followed after her and took her hand, seeing as Hazel was moving to fast.
"Sorry. I really need sleep," Hazel replied to Lexi's touch. "Hence the bags under my eyes."
"I understand." Lexi smiled, finally moving closer to her.
"I feel dead," Hazel slouched while walking. "I wish I didn't so I could enjoy having you around."
"It's completely fine. I feel like that every second of the day unless I'm with you."
"Ah, you sap," She punched Lexi lightly on the shoulder.
"What, I can't help it if it's true." Lexi grinned acting like the punch hurt.
Hazel struggled to find something to say. "Uh….um…"
Lexi kissed her to stop her words before pulling her towards the crosswalk. "Where's your place?"
At the college, I'm in a dorm," Hazel yawned.
"Oh my god, more walking." She groaned.
"It's not that far, I walk here all the time."
"But still." Lexi walked up to the campus and stopped. "Where are the dorms?"
"The third building, on the right," Hazel envisioned sleep, imagining how wonderful it would be.
Lexi ran toward the building and dragged Hazel along with her.
Hazel got her keys out and unlocked the door. "Here it is, there's the lamp, bathroom, and bed. Grand, isn't it?"
"Yessss." Lexi said running and jumping onto the bed, removing her shoes on the way.
Hazel kicked her shoes off and joined Lexi. "YAY!! Nap time!"
