"It's fine." Lexi said, taking Hazel's hand and kissing each knuckle. "I fear I wouldn't be able to stop."
"It's fine." Lexi said, taking Hazel's hand and kissing each knuckle. "I fear I wouldn't be able to stop."
Hazel shivered at the touch. "And we know Iwouldn't be stopping anything."
Lexi laughed at that before continuing. "Do you need me to drop you off?"
"No, I can walk. What time do you have to be there?" She inquired.
"Inβ¦" She looked at her watch before responding. "30 minutes and it's a 20 minute drive."
"Okay, I'll be on my way then," Hazel paused. "Thanks for letting me stay, though." She grabbed Lexi's hand and kissed her cheek.
"You're welcome." She said before looking down to the ground. "When will I get to see you again?"
"Well, that depends," Hazel smiled. "I'll surprise you, okay?"
"Okay."
Time Skip!
I don't know when we're time skipping to so you do it
Hazel didn't know where to find her. Dammit. Maybe google'll know, or something, it might be on the place's homepage. She googled Lexi's name, and a company not too far from her dorm came up. Hazel ran to get some money for coffee and jogged out the door.
Lexi had just finished giving someone their groceries when her shift was over. She closed the lane and hopped down from her chair to head to the break room. She took out the dollar she had for a cold soda and chugged it down before wiping her mouth. She went into the locker room to change out of her normal clothes before putting the rest in her bag and heading towards the door.
Hazel got to Lexi's work as she was walking towards the door. "I brought you coffee," Hazel offered sheepishly.
"Thanks." Lexi said while smelling the nice scent. She gave Holly a quick kiss before hugging her. "Thank you."
"It's my pleasure," Hazel hugged her back. "Are you still working?"
"No, I just got off actually." She answered before taking a sip.
The day was still semi-early and they were in town. "Want to go on a walk?"
"Yea. I took a taxi anyway." She said, blatantly lying. She knew that she brought her car but she couldn't pass up an opportunity to be with her.
"Lies, I saw your car," Hazel replied with a smirk. "But we can come back later for it."
Lexi blushed, a bit embarrassed that she was caught in a lie. "Okay." She answered, taking Hazel's hand with her free hand.
Hazel lead her through the door, onto the sidewalk. "I love days like this," She sighed wistfully.
"Mmhm." Lexi agreed. She took the hand and wrapped it around Hazel's shoulder before leaning slightly onto her. "Where are we walking to?"
Her arm snaked around Lexi's hip. "I don't know. Maybe we could go look in some random stores? Oooh! Bubble tea!!"
"Bubble tea?" Lexi asked clearly confused as to what that was. "Why does anyone want soapy tea?"
Hazel laughed. "It's tea, but with tapioca pearls! Sometimes the tapioca's flavoured, sometimes it's not," She explained.
"Tapioca? The juice?" Lexi asked again, obviously confusing it with Tampico.
