"At the bar sounds like the best plan. No offence but I don't know you to well and would rather you not know where I live just yet." Mavi winked jokingly
"At the bar sounds like the best plan. No offence but I don't know you to well and would rather you not know where I live just yet." Mavi winked jokingly
"Thats alright. I really don't feel like feeling like a creepy stalker." He said jokingly.
"Well I'll see you then. For now I have homework to get to." Mavi waved, and agents her better judgement tried skipping away, stumbling at first, falling once and finally making her way out the door.
Colden watched her skip and fall away from him. Then he shook his head and walked out the door. He walked down the street and to the dorms. When he got to his room he started his homework.
"You should really get some rest." Mavi could practically here her father rolling his eyes over the phone, and she knew he really didnt care. After all, she was nother but a pawn in his game. But she didn't need to know that, at least not yet.
"Whatever, I found what you needed. But its not all here. Are you sure you don't know who else was working on this expirament?"
Her father sighed, his annoyment obvious. "No I don't, so why don't you find out? Oh wait, you killed the scientist didn't you?" Poison, no matter how week Mavi was, radiated from her. Filling her dorm room with its toxin. Though she was smart and quickly pulled it all back with in herself. "Screw off. I'll find out who the others where and kill them too. Good bye." With that Mavi hung up the phone and quickly pulled on her suit.
She would figure it out, and hopefully before she had to meet up with Colden. What would her father say if he knew she was getting close to someone?
Colden sat down and pulled out his papers. There was writing on all of them. Some questions. Information. Also some more unneeded stuff. He pulled out a short pencil that had been sharpened a lot previously. There were some subtle burn marks on it from some of his stress while doing homework. Most of the marks where old by now. Some were much newer. Colden filled out his papers. Answered all the questions. Then wrote a body paragraph to an essay that was due in a couple weeks.
Hours seemed to have passed by time he was done with everything. He looked around then got up and grabbed his suit. It was only 4ish he had time still.
"Let me ask again," Mavi smiled sweetly at her victim, "who else was working on rhe project? Surely you don't want to end up like the others." She looked over her shoulder at the ones she'd already killed. Of course not with her power. No, much rather she used a knife she brought with her. As she didn't want to use up to much energy and look week. "Come on. I haven't all day. I'm meeting up with a friend later and honestly would rather not be late."
Colden put on his suit and mask then snuck out. He found a way without anyone noticing. Then he walked down the street through back ways and alleys. Honestly nothing interesting seemed to be happening currently.
Mavi rolled her eyes at their sobbing, having yet to answer her question. But gears seemed to be turning in their head, and the crying seemed to be just an act. Suddenly they jumped up pushing Mavi aside and making a run for it. Mavi, as she was still trying to recover, fell. "You'll regret that." She got up to give chase, hopping the noise wouldn't drawl any unwanted attention.
Colden heard some noice in the building he was next to. So out of his boredom he opened the door and walked into the place and over to where the noice came from.
"Help me!" Shrieked the poor person when they saw Colden enter. Mavi rolled her eyes when she heard the person calling for help. "No one care hear you!" She called from the other room as she pushed herself to her feet.
"Hello to you too." Colden said sarcastically as he entered and smiled warm and comfortingly at the poor person. Then he walked over to where Mavi was.
"Oh screw off. I have work to attend to." Mavi rolled her eyes when she saw who it was. "Why is it always you that come along? Huh hot stuff?" She forced herself to keep from using her magic so early on.
He smiled"aww you think I'm hot." He said sarcastically then looked around. "Also I came along because I heard a noise, and was bored enough to follow it. Alright dear?"
"Hot enough to light your surroundings on fire." Mavi offered a sweet smile before turning sour. "Well you know what they say, curiosity killed the cat."
His smile turned sad. "That's the same way my cat died." He said as he slowly made a perimeter of fire around the room.
"Awe. You saying imma die like a filthy animal?" Mavi stood her ground, even though the fire made her want to try and run. She slowly let poison poor from her. Knowing that she couldn't muster the strength to do much else quiet yet.
"No I'm not saying you will die like a filthy animal. I never even implied that." He said shaking his head. "So why exactly are you torturing random people?"
"Awe honey, its not random. Haven't you see the pattern yet?" Mavis voice came out cold and hard like winter. She contemplated on using her power. She could get this over with quickly, right? But then again she knew the only reason he had yet to kill her was because of dumb luck. After all, fire was much stronger then her plants and poison.
"I'm sorry I haven't had the time to study everything you have done, and everyone you torture." He said to her then looked at his watch.
"Running low on time?" Mavi smiled. Perhaps she could find a way to satal until then.
"No, well. Yeah. I have to meet my grandma at the hospital." He replied.
"Well, it'd be a shame if she where to die?" A wicked smile crossed Mavi's lips, but it quickly disappeared. After all, this wasn't a a friendly chat. But she couldn't deny the fact that she had one question. "I'm a bit weak at the moment. If its not already obvious. I mean that weakling knocked me down." She, against what her body seemed to be screaming at her not to do, pulled her energy together. Ready to attack if needed.
"Ok… Um ok. You should probably go rest. Want to fight like maybe tomorrow?" He replied to her and let the fire die down.
Mavi barked out a laugh, though she was almost stunned by his response. "You actually almost sound worried. Afraid you'll kill me?" She took a step back though, almost hoping he wasn't joking.
