"Gosh. I'm so sorry. My dads a bit, well," she took a moment to find the right words, but decided that she'd best speak her mind. "A stuck up rich old man."
"Gosh. I'm so sorry. My dads a bit, well," she took a moment to find the right words, but decided that she'd best speak her mind. "A stuck up rich old man."
"It's ok." Colden said as they walked outside. "Just a lot questions."
"So, how about we go find some rundown place to look super fancy in?"
"Sounds amazing." Colden said and smiled.
Mavi extended her hand to him, a smile on her face. "Come on then."
He took her hand and smiled.
Mavi began skipping along, leading Colden behind her. "Again, I'm so sorry."
"It is fine." Colden said skipping with her.
Mavi's phone rung and she let out a curse. "Probably my dad. I should probably go feed his ego and apologize. See you tomorrow?"
"alright." Colden said and nodded.
Mavi gave a small apologetic smile before turning and leaving. Once far enough away she checked her phone, smiling at the text. Yes it was her father. No he didn't want a apology. In fact he had a job for her. Someone he needed something from. Someone he wanted dead. Though Mavi rolled her eyes at the fact he wanted them dead. She wasn't an assassin, Nor a dog to do his dirty work. But she was interested in what he needed. After all, she needed this too.
Colden walked down the street and ended up going to some fast food restaurant. He got a burger and sat down to eat it. Looking way to fancy while he did.
She smiled as she watched through the window, her victim unsuspecting of the poisones death they faced. She hoped that hero wouldn't show up, after all, it was fun having someone to fight. It'd be a shame if she'd have to deal with two Corps' in one night.
(So just a little note about her poision, it is called crown Vetch a real poision in the real world. It often makes people dizzy, and not want to stand. Idk if its air born or whatever. But that's how I'm using it. So. Yeah.
Also sorry if the next few bits aren't to interactive between the two characters. If you'd like you can have Colden just some how happen to be around and feel her poision or something? Idk.)
(alright.)
Colden left the restaurant and decided to go for a walk. He didn't know why but he just didn't feel like going back to his dorm yet. So he went out walking.
"You have something I need." Mavi said as she slipped in through the window, already letting her poision fill the room.
The scientist let out a scream, having been surprised by the voice. "Wh- who are you?" They asked, the effects of the poision making the room sway.
"Awe honey, I'm the one asking the questions around here." A wicked smile curled Mavi's lips upward. "And all you need to know anyway is I'm here for one thing. I know what you've been working on, and I need it. After all, poision is my everything."
Colden was walking down the street then suddenly as he was walking by one of the buildings he started not feeling right. He started feeling dizzy like vertigo. He slowly fell to the ground.
"I- I don't know what your talking about-" Mavi cut them off by raising her hand up, "well if you don't, then you're obviously not who I'm looking for. Do you know what that means?" The scientist shook their head no. "It means you're useless to me, and you know what people do with us less things?"
The scientist trumbled, "please. I have a family. I have children." They began to sob and maiv rolled her eyes.
"Of course you do," she softened her voice, making it sound almost caring, "I have a family too. A father. A mother. I care about them very much. But you know what? I wouldn't use them as an excuse not to be killed. In fact I'd stand up and fight till my dying breath." Her tone went sour, and she glared at the gross mess of a human before her. "Now, try and be useful and tell me who does have what I need."
Colden sat on the ground dizzy. He didn't know what was happening.
"T-the paper's on me desk- please. Take them find who you need."
Mavi smiled as she strode to the desk, letting her poision diminish to what one would call a dizzy spell. "Show me." She said as the scientist stood on shaky legs.
Colden felt the affects still but managed to get up and walk out of the area. Once out of the area he walked quickly back to his dorm. When he got to his dorm he grabbed his suit and mask put them on pushed his hair out of the way and walked back to the area where he had become dizzy.
Mavi quickly collected the papers that the scientist held out to her. "Thanks hon' I'll make sure I get what I want."
They gave a nod, hoping that this was the end. That this poision freak would let them go.
Mavi patted them on the back, pushing the scientist over, and smiling down at the giant thorn that stayed lodged in their back. "No offense, but I couldn't let you live. After all, I always despose of useless things."
Colden arrived at the place where he felt the sickness and got in through the window.
Mavi stood there shifting through the papers, listening to the scientist wheeze their last breaths out. Once finding what she needed she quickly stuffed the papers in the pouch on her hip and turned to the window to leave. She gasped at the sight of the hero. Not having had expecting him. "Gosh darn it, what do you want."
"I don't know. Probably like 12 hours of sleep." He answered sarcastically and smiled. "What would you like, you know while we are on the topic."
"Well if you really want to know, fire boy, I'd love to not have to deal with you right now. So go home and get your twelve hours of sleep and we'll both be happy." She glared at him, not dating to make a move yet.
