He started burning the air around him. "I'm sorry but I prefer purified air."
He started burning the air around him. "I'm sorry but I prefer purified air."
She raised her lip in disgust. "Yeah so do I. But your kind obviously doesn't." She sighed. "I'm not winning this one, am I?" She laughed lightly. She- Crown Vetch, was used to winning. But what could she do agents someone that was quite Litarlly her weakness? At least, how could she win at the moment? Before everything was ready.
"so want to continue this a bit later. I am kinda hungry and want to go get something to eat. Maybe downtown." He said to her as a joke.
She cocked her head to the side, a smile still playing under her mask. "What's your name fire boy? Something tells me neither of us will be leaving the other alone, or dying anytime soon."
"don't publicly have a name." He said smoothly. "And I am not telling you my name."
She grinned under her mask. A wicked look gleam to her eyes. "Well, it was worth a try. But Just remember, this is only a battle in a war yet to come. Keep that in mind." She snapped her fingers as vines came up to cover her. What ever poision left in the air disappearing along with her.
He sighed then ran a hand through his hair before walking away from the scene.
Mavi found herself quickly changing back in hopes of getting a better look as to where the hero would be going. She rushed out of the half destroyed building, back in her normal everyday clothes. A 'save the world' T-shirt, shorts, and a sweater. Mavi whipped her head around looking for him. Disappointed when she didn't spot him.
He changed his outfit in an empty building then caught a taxi and went back to his dorm room.
"A shame really. I'd have loved to get a better look with out the goggles." Her grin dance around on her lips. A wicked game was going to play out. A game in which would only result in death and pain.
He walked into his dark room and shut the door. He grabbed the book he had been reading then opened the blinds and sat down.
Mavi made her way back to her dorm, her plants seeming to spring to life at her arivel. She smiled sweetly at them, listening to their whispers. "Don't worry. Maybe one day I can plant y'all out side." She skipped over to her sink and filled a small container. Taking careful time to water each plant.
Colden got up to light a candle. It was supposed to smell like Evening Air but he couldn't understand how. After he lit the candle he grabbed earbuds and listened to some music and read his book.
(Time skip?)
(yeah)
(Sweet. ^^)
Mavi rose with the sun, much like some of her plant's. She made her way to her first class, sitting threw it only half paying attention. When she was heading to her next class she stopped in the lobby, and looked up at the screen that played the news.
Col walked in to the school for his first class. It started a bit later than other classes so it gave him time to hang out in the lobby as always to watch the TV.
"Hey!" Mavi shouted happily as she skipped over to him. "Long time no see stranger! See the news yet?"
"hey and no I haven't. Just about to look at it now." He replied and looked over at her.
"Well, looks like this so called villain ran this time. Don't you think maybe the hero should have tried to stop her? I mean, it just means he'll have to deal with her again some other time."
"Yeah I guess, I really haven't paid much attention to what was going on." Colden said then looked at the time. "I have to start getting to class. See you at some point?" he said then went to class, it was a boring two hours of his life that he wished he didn't have to endure but at least he didn't have any other classes for the rest of the day. He thought as he walked down the hall and stopped in the lobby and looked at the TV.
Mavi had ended up running to her next- and final class after he had left. Only stopping once to look at the screen in the lobby. Same old boring news. she thought to herself.
Colden walked away and out the door after that and went down to the cafe just down the street and got a coffee and sat down at one of the small tables.
homework. she thought boredly, knowing full well she'd have to do it at some point. But for now settled on going some place. Where? Oh that she didn't know yet, but perhaps she'd grab some coffee first.
Colden sat alone sipping his coffee slowly and looking at the blank black screen of his phone. He hadn't had the will power to turn it on.
