Arien started to nod a bit, then remembered Rafael couldn't see.
"Yes," he said, voice hushed. He leaned his head down to rest on Rafael's, lettinoug out a soft breath.
Arien started to nod a bit, then remembered Rafael couldn't see.
"Yes," he said, voice hushed. He leaned his head down to rest on Rafael's, lettinoug out a soft breath.
“Good..” his grip tightened a bit on Arien. “I don’t want things between us to change like that…you’re really special to me.”
Arien ran his fingers through Rafael's hair lightly.
"You… you are to me too," Arien said softly.
He smiled softly, leaning into Arien’s touch. “It makes me really happy to hear you say that.”
Arien lightly continued with the gentle touches, playing with Rafael's hair a bit.
"I'm glad," he said softly, holding the human close.
“You know what I’m just realizing now?” He asked after a few moments of silent bliss while Arien messed with his hair. “I really don’t know that much about you. And I haven’t talked much about myself either.”
Arien listened, letting out a soft chuckle.
"Yes, this is very true!" They really were rushing into this, weren't they? He chuckled again.
"Is there anything in particular you'd like to know about me? Or perhaps something you'd want me to know?"
He shrugged. “I was just wondering what your life was like before I was around. And ya know, being a vampire and all that stuff. But you only really have to answer whatever you feel comfortable with. As for me, I’m pretty much always an open book, so whatever you want to know, I’ll most likely feel comfortable to answer.”
Arien tilted his head a bit.
"Well, there isn't really one way to describe what my life is like. It's been some of the most chaotic boredom I've ever heard of." Arien laughed lightly.
"There's a lot that goes on around me, yeah, but… I dunno, I just don't feel invested a lot." Arien looked down at Rafael with a soft smile. Except with him, of course, he thought to himself.
"You've made my life much more interesting."
“Really? If I were you I’d be 100% unable to not get in the middle of everything.” He laughed softly. He smiled softly when Arien mentioned him. “Have I really now? Boring old me?”
"I don't find you boring at all." Arien smiled some, giving Rafael a bit of a hug.
"And I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get yourself in the middle of all the drama anyway." He laughed a bit.
He laughed. “Yeah I probably will, even if I’m just on the sidelines of all the action, I’ll enjoy every second of it. Seriously Arien, I was a pretty boring guy before I met you. I just worked part time jobs and played violin, and that was essentially my day to day life most of the time.”
Arien couldn't help but laugh again.
"So-so I'm a bored vampire living one of the most chaotic lives someone could, and you're an action loving human who's life is boring?" Arien laughed a bit more, smiling. He also said they were made for each other, but he didn't feel ready to say things like that just yet.
He grinned. “Yeah that’s pretty ironic isn’t it?” He commented. He hadn’t really thought of it that way before. “Well I’m glad we make each other’s lives interesting.”
"I am too." Arien grinned back, resting his head back on Rafael's. "I'm glad for it too."
“Soooo anything you want to know about little old me?” He said jokingly. It wasn’t that he was necessarily nervous about telling Arien everything about him, he just wanted to know if it was coming or not.
Arien tilted his head, thinking a bit.
"What's your social life like?" He finally asked.
“Not even joking, I don’t have one…like at all.” He chuckled a bit. It was kind of depressing though when he thought about it, but he’d never really minded.
"Really?" Arien asked, a bit surprised by this response. "Huh…" He rested his head on top of Rafael's lightly, humming a bit.
“Mhm. Most of the time I’m just working, and when I’m not I’m playing violin. Besides that, I’m asleep. I don’t really have any friends either. So yeah, that’s just how it’s always been.”
"I see…" Arien thought a moment after this. "Well, I am glad we ended up meeting, then." Arien smiled sweetly into Rafael's shoulder.
“Yeah me too..being around you is a really nice break from all the working.” He smiled softly. “I guess I just always thought I would hit a point soon where I wouldn’t need to be a supply of income for my family but..as of right now it seems like that’s still a long way off.”
"I'm glad this is nice for you too." Arien moved his head a bit to look at Rafael.
"Ah…really?" Arien thought a moment of offering to help Rafael out with that- he'd been saving for quite a long time.
“Mhm…” Arien could probably tell there was something more to it, as Rafael opened his mouth to say something else before hesitating and deciding against it.
Arien watched, his lips pulled together a bit.
"Is something else?" He asked.
