Eve grinned. "Oooh, that's a good idea!"
Eve grinned. "Oooh, that's a good idea!"
"Sounds good. Which one do you want, then? I think they've got those self cleaning ones too."
Eve located it. "There! Should we get it?"
"Do you want to?" Rowan asked with a shrug. "I'm not really picky. Might save time since we're pretty busy."
Eve nodded. "That's very true. Let's get it!"
"Alright." Rowan lifted the litter box into the cart. "Now we have that, collars, and food. We'll need toys and stuff too."
Eve nodded. "I saw toys down this way," she remarked, pointing further into the store.
"Alright, let's go then." Rowan followed Eve to the toy aisle and held Nollie up to the wall to see if there was anything she liked.
(Bump)
(As I said in the other one… SHIT SORRY)
Eve giggled and did the same with her kitten. "See anything you like, Beanie?"
Rowan grabbed a couple of toys that Nollie seemed to like and put them into the cart. "Uh… what else do we need?"
Eve did the same with Bean and then looked over at Rowan with a soft gaze. "I think we have everything. Did you get food?"
Rowan nodded. "Mhmm. I made sure the bag said kitten food on it, so it should be alright. Did we get a cat tree?"
"No!" Eve chirped. "We should… let's find one!"
"Alright. How big of one do you think we should get?" Rowan asked, leading Eve over to where the cat trees were.
"It has to fit in my car and the apartment," Eve remarked. "So not too big."
"True." Rowan hummed thoughtfully as he looked around. "I dunno. What do you think? Are any of them calling to you?" He asked.
Eve pursed her lips. “Ooooh, this one looks like a little house!”
"Yeah? Do you want to get that one?" Rowan approached the cat tree, prepared to lift it if Eve said yes.
"Do you want to?" she asked, stroking Bean lightly. "Does Bean approve?" She held the kitten out, and Bean yawned, her jaws stretched open wide.
"It's fine by me." Rowan shrugged, handing Nollie to Eve so he could carry the cat tree. It wouldn't fit in the cart, so he would just have to bring it up to the register.
Eve cradled the two kittens and followed Rowan eagerly.
Rowan set the cat tree down at the register and chatted idly with the cashier as he pulled out his card to pay. It was his parents money anyway, so he wasn't particularly concerned about the price.
Eve's eyes widened at the price. She faltered for a moment. "Are you sure?" she whispered when Rowan slipped a card out of his own wallet.
Rowan looked over to Eve with a soft smile. "Yeah, don't worry about it. It's my parents' money anyway." He shrugged. "They probably won't even notice."
