Rowan smirked a little. "Of course. Just don't cause a scene in the restaurant." he replied, scooting his chair back a little so that Damian could come and sit if he wished. He smirked at Damian a little. He wanted the other on his lap, in his arms. Wanted…other, less appropriate things.
Damian wasted no time to -quietly of course, trying not to draw too much attention- perch himself on Rowan’s lap. He snuggled his arms around the man, instantly loving the warmth Rowan provided. “Mmmmmm….” He hummed softly with a content smile, pecking Rowan on the cheek happily.
Rowan smiled, resting his hands on Damian's waist. He pressed another kiss to Damian's mouth, lips pressing against the other man's gently but eagerly. He couldn't help but want Damian. Wanted to kiss him and…and other things that he knew he probably shouldn't do.
Damian kissed him back eagerly, smiling a little into the kiss. He wanted quite a bit of things right now, especially with his proximity to the other man. Rowan was just so warm, and his hands on Damian’s waist felt so right, and gosh darn why on earth did they have to be in public right now? Maybe it was a good thing, so his desperate fantasies wouldn’t become a reality because of their current circumstances.
Rowan held him close, pressing his mouth to Damian's again and again. The waiter came back, and cleared his throat. "Excuse me, gentlemen. I have your dessert." Rowan stopped, pulling away from Damian. "Right. Thank you. Could you, er, bring the check, please?" He asked, a touch breathlessly. The waiter nodded, and left.
Damian kissed him back each time, and when the waiter came back he was still staring at Rowan. He didn’t even care what the waiter thought, he wanted those lips on his again. And again. And again. I wonder what that tongue can do… No. Nope. Nada. I can’t let myself think about that right now.
Rowan took a deep breath, and picked up the fork, getting some of the dessert on it, and held it out to Damian. "Here." he said softly, the fork still held in one hand. You disgust me. This is so…so…gross. Reaper snarled inside of him. Rowan sighed. Shut the fuck up. If you don't like it, then don't watch.
Damian gleefully ate the bite, blushing a little because gosh he’d never gotten this treatment before. And he loved it. Damian didn’t give a crap about anyone else in the restaurant, he was determined to enjoy this while it lasted. He let out a little hum as licked the bites of chocolate from his lips before planting a soft kiss on Rowan’s cheek. “You’re really sweet,” Damian told him with a bright smile, then grabbed another forkful of the brownie and held it out for Rowan.
Rowan ate the forkful from Damian, eyes never leaving Damian's. "Many would beg to differ, but thank you." he replied, pressing a kiss to the tip of Damian's nose. His free hand rested lightly around Damian's waist, and he got another forkful, holding it up for Damian to eat.
“They don’t know you,” Damian told him softly, “Not even Frost. I bet if Frost knew you like I did, he’d stop trying to capture or kill you.” It was true. Damian didn’t want to hurt Rowan in their fights, even though he knew he had to. But knowing that if he put Reaper in jail, that Damian would never see Rowan again… he couldn’t bring himself to want that. It was a big problem, and he’d certainly have to face the consequences later for it, but… Damian distracted himself by happily taking the forkful of dessert and smiling joyfully at his date, then grabbing a bite and holding it up for Rowan to eat.
Rowan shrugged a little. "Perhaps so." he replied simply, and happily ate the forkful that Damian held up for him, licking his lips when he was done. He kissed Damian's temple contentedly. "You know…you picked a delicious dessert." he said with a smile, lips trailing down the other male's face for a moment, before he pulled away again, holding out another forkful for Damian to eat. He was considering what the other had said, but doubted it. If they knew what I've done…no. They wouldn't think I'm sweet.
Damian smiled at him, leaning in to those kisses. “Only for you,” He chimed before he ate the forkful the Rowan held out for him. He snuggled a little closer to Rowan’s chest before grabbing another bite for Rowan. The other male was just so warm and comfy, and Damian was cold, so it was simply irresistible to snuggle into his chest when he had the opportunity.
Rowan chuckled, and held him close. "Oh, good." he replied, kissing Damian's cheek, then eating the forkful. He held out another forkful for Damian, smiling gently. It felt like forever since he had been able to do something like this.
Damian smiled brightly as he ate the forkful and leaned a bit more into Rowan’s chest. He wondered if this could work, even if he knew the answer was no. He couldn’t crush his hopes though, he couldn’t crush his wants from trying to delay the inevitable. Damian grabbed another forkful for Rowan with a smile as he leaned his head into Rowan’s neck. “What’re we gonna do after we’re done eating…?” He murmured softly, feeling an ache in his side wound but ignoring it.
Rowan smiled. "Mm. That's entirely up to you. You said you wanted to be second dessert. But I'm not going to make you do anything you don't want to, so if you just wanna kiss or cuddle or whatever, then that's fine with me. Or if you want more, then we can do that to. We could go to a park, or my place, or…wherever you want to go."
“I wanna be second dessert,” Damian agreed with a tiny giggle. Gosh, tonight was the night of bad decisions, wasn’t it? What on earth was he thinking? Nonetheless, Damian didn’t seem like he’d stop talking and making bad decisions, “And I want to go to your place.” Damian wanted to ignore what had happened last time. He wanted to pretend that his powers wouldn’t interfere, he wanted to pretend he could do this with Rowan even though he very much couldn’t.
Rowan smiled a little. "Mm. Alright." he replied, kissing Damian's cheek and holding out a forkful of dessert for the other male. "I'll drive us there, then." He didn't know if he could control Reaper all night, if that's what happened, but he would do his damned best to. He couldn't let Damian be hurt.
Damian grinned, and happily took the bite. He licked his lips as. he stabbed the last of the dessert with his fork and held it for Rowan. “I want this…” Damian mumbled with a grin. He wanted to go further with Rowan, so, so, so badly. It almost hurt that the fact was that he would not be going forward, that eventually he’d hit a brick wall and hurt.
Rowan smiled a little. "Mm. Alright." he ate the bite off the fork, and pressed a kiss to Damian's forehead. "Good. I want it to, but I'll be as slow and gentle as you need me to be." he said, holding the other male close.
Damian’s eyes fluttered closed at this kiss on his forehead, and he leaned into Rowan even more. How could he feel so safe with a man like Rowan? A murderer like Rowan? Damian brushed those thoughts away, he wanted to be with Rowan. Regardless of him being a murderer or not… shit I sound crazy, don’t I? But if Damian hadn’t know anything about Rowan being the Reaper, Damian wouldn’t have ever even thought or considered the fact that Rowan could even possibly be a murderer.
The waiter brought the check, setting it on the table. Rowan smiled again, and squirmed a little, pulling his wallet out. He got out his credit card and paid for dinner. The waiter took the card and receipt, and came back with them a few minutes later. Rowan put the card and his wallet away, and looked at Damian again. "Ready to go?" he asked, raising his eyebrows a little. He kissed Damian's cheek happily.
Damian adjusted to let Rowan get out his wallet, but didn’t pull away too far. “Yep,” He chirped happily, smiling at the kiss before making himself stand up off of Rowan’s lap. Damian held out his hand towards Rowan, wanting to intertwine their fingers together. “The dinner was lovely. Thank you for taking me out.”
Rowan smiled, and stood up, twining their fingers together as well. "Mhm. You're welcome." he replied, kissing Damian's cheek gently. "Now. My place, right?" he asked, raising his eyebrows curiously. He led Damian out of the restaurant and to the car, still holding Damian's hand gently.
Damian smiled happily, twisting his head so he could kiss Rowan’s cheek too. “That sounds wonderful.” He was still smiling as he got in the car. You’re going to screw everything up, what are you thinking? What will he do when you chicken out last minute? Or what will he do when you start sporadically freezing things? Damian knew that this was a bad idea, that it would end up horrible, but he couldn’t bring himself to stop now. Not when he could still pretend he could be happy.
Rowan smiled, and got into the driver's seat, starting the car up. "Alright." he replied. He let go of Damian's hand so he could drive, pulling out of the lot and heading towards his home. He hadn't drunk enough wine for it to endanger them on the road, which was a very good thing indeed. He wasn't sure what excuse he was going to give as to why Damian couldn't spend all night in his room, but he would figure that out if it came to it.
