"You'll be fine, just don't trip or make a fool of yourself." Her best friend whispered to her and she laughed lightly, nodding as she smoothed out her dress one last time. The dress was a plain white color that was long enough to touch the ground and trail behind her for a few inches, it had no sleeves and the waist had a silver ribbon around it. She tucked a small strand of hair behind her ear that she had pulled out from her braid before taking her bouquet of flowers and letting the butterflies in her stomach settle. "Now or never," She told herself, standing where she was supposed to while she waited for her signal to go.
"How are you feeling brother?" Thor asked Loki from his left. As king of Asgard, he was allowed to perform wedding ceremonies. " LIke all the nine realms are crushing down on me all at once," he said softly
"that's normal, you're doing fine," he reassured Loki
"I haven't done anything yet," he said in slight confusion
"Well don't do anything now, we're about to begin"
Avalin closed her eyes for a second before hearing a whisper in her ear "Make me proud Avi," Her friend said, giving her a slight push forward to get her moving. She squeaked quietly and started walking, a huge smile appearing on her face as she started towards Loki.
He stood straighter as he heard the music and looked towards the door. All his senses and composer left him when he saw Avalin. "Don't lose it now brother," Thor whispered next to him. He smiled as she got closer and readied himself
She reached him quickly, a light blush appearing on her face "Are you absolutely, positively, completely sure that you want to do this?" She asked him quietly. She had already asked him several times before this, but she wanted to hear his answer one more time.
He turned to her and pulled her into his arms "there nothing more I want than for you to be my queen," he said softly. He nodded at his brother to begin
She smiled and exhaled slowly, the butterflies in her stomach coming back. She tightened her grip on the bouquet of flowers in her hands, trying her best not to do anything embarrassing or stupid.
"you're doing fine," he said with a smile, sensing her unease
"today, we are here to celebrate the union of my very own brother, and a woman I have become very familiar with throughout the years of her being with Loki."

"do you, Loki of Asgard, son of Odin, Take Avalin to be your wife and queen?"
"I do."
"do you, Avalin take my insufferable, mischievous no good brother as your husband?" Thor said with a smile
She laughed and nodded to Thor "I do."
Loki glared at Thor, but his anger was short lived as Avalin said yes
"good, now I pronounce you as man and wife, you may……" he looked at both of them and smiled
"Thor what's wrong?" Loki whispered
"Nothing, just want to see how long you two can hold out," he said with a smile
"Og for gods sake!" Loki pulled Avalin in and kissed her
She looped her arms around his neck, smiling brightly as she kissed him back. She pulled away for a moment "Are you ready to deal with me for the rest of your life?" She joked before kissing him again.
He groaned in content "I should be asking you that question since according to my brother, I'm insufferable." he kissed her again "though he's not wrong"
"You aren't insufferable..at least not right now," She kissed him again before unlooping her arms from around his neck "Can we continue this conversation later?" She asked, looking around, "I could really go for a piece of cake right about now,"
He looked down at her lovingly, "of course," he kissed her once more before pulling her into a walk, down the isle
She smiled and looked up at him as they walked, blushing slightly from the kiss.
He smiled when he saw her blush and leaned down so only she could hear "did I mention you look absolutely stunning today my dear?"
"Thank you," She replied, blushing harder. "You look amazing as well," She smiled and waved at her friend who was standing a few feet away as they finally made it down the aisle.
"nothing compared to you, my queen." he laughed gently as he saw her blush harder. He waved to a few friendly faces in the crowd. He led her to the reception area and sat her down at their designated table "I'll be right back," he said in her ear and walked off to find his brother
She nodded and smiled happily when she saw her friend walking up to her. "Lilly!" She stood up and wrapped her in a hug.
""I'm so happy for you Avi!" Lilly said, crushing her friend in a hug. She looked around and smiled "Now, just because you married a prince doesn't mean that you can't come see me, i'm requiring us to talk at least once a month."
Avalin chuckled and nodded "Ok, I can do that."
Lilly nodded again before pulling away from her friend and waving "I'm off to find a cute guy to flirt with, you and your prince be good."
"Love you too Lilly," She laughed, sitting back down to wait for Loki.
He came back and sat next to her "I'm guessing that was one of your friends I saw walking out with one of the guards?" he asked with a smile
"Most likely," She nodded and smiled brightly, "Lilly likes to flirt, scratch that, she loves to flirt. Did you find your brother?"
he chuckled lightly "Yes I can see that, and the guards will always fall into the trap. She loves the game, and they love the ttrap" he rolled his eyes and smiled "yes, I did find him, just talking about earlier."
"True, I don't think they'll ever not fall for it," She looked up at him and grabbed his hand, smiling the whole time, "Were you talking about the kiss? Or the part where he called you insufferable?"
He ran his thumb over the top of her hand "both, now he owes me." her happiness seemed to radiate off her and infect him. "my love,"
She smiled at him "Yes?" She looked at all the people and started searching for more people she knew, seeing a few that she recognised.
