"Well, that too," Avalin smiled, taking another arrow and picking up the bow again. She shot the arrow and smiled at him, shrugging slightly.
"Well, that too," Avalin smiled, taking another arrow and picking up the bow again. She shot the arrow and smiled at him, shrugging slightly.
He crouched low and looked behind him seeing that the arrow was stuck in the wall "did I forget to dull those?" he smiled innocently "oh well."
Her eyes widened and she picked up another arrow, looking at the tip. "I'm not going to shoot them," she said, crossing her arms.
he grumbled and snapped his fingers "there. now they're boring." he grabbed the one from the wall and handed it to her "or are they?"
"They better be," she took the arrow from him softly, turning it in her hands to see if it really was dull. She shrugged and notched it in the bow, shooting it at him again.
he ducked as he walked back to the center of the room "at least let me get to the center before shooting at me"
"You were the one that gave me the arrow, I was just giving it back," She said with a shrug, notching another arrow and waiting until he got to the center of the room before shooting at him again.
"remind me to never give you a weapon with my back turned" he caught the arrow and dropped it on the ground
"Copy that," She said, smiling and nodding slightly. She shot a few more at him before stopping, rolling her wrist and shoulders that were sore from shooting for so long.
"break time? thought you'd never get tired." he smiled and grabbed the arrows from the ground "your persistence in trying to shoot me is impressive."
"I suppose," She said, smiling a little as she sat down near the wall. She laid the bow next to her and leaned her head back on the wall, "That was way too much work.."
He shrugged and sat a few feet away from her "that's usually how long I practice for."
"You forget that I don't usually practice with royalty, or practice at all for that matter." She looked over at him and smiled.
He smiled back and inclined his head to look at her better "you did pretty good today despite this being your first time training."
Avalin smiled "Thanks, you did good too," she laid her head back against the wall and looked up at the ceiling, trying not to think about how close she was to the prince.
He stood and offered her a hand "I do believe it is time for dinner,"
She took his hand and stood up quickly, nodding "That's right..I have to get back down to the kitchens to help serve food,"
He nodded and walked towards the door "I'll see you then," he winked and smiled before disappearing down the hall
She smiled and turned to the kitchen, dashing down to it. She grabbed a few trays of food before bringing them back to the dining hall.
(Time skip?)
Loki changed for the dinner, choosing to wear all black with simple gold fillagree
(Sure, to when?)
(end of the dinner?)
(Ok)
Avalin finished scrubbing the last of the dishes and smiled happily, nodding to the other servants before quickly leaving the kitchens.
Loki was heading towards the castle gardens to practice more in a relaxed space. He saw no one around and began to practice his control
She shook her head and headed out to the gardens, sitting in the middle of a patch of flowers. She sighed and closed her eyes, enjoying the quiet of the garden.
