"Yeah…sure." He looked up at Wolf, smiling the smallest bit.
"Yeah…sure." He looked up at Wolf, smiling the smallest bit.
"Any preferences?," Wolf asked, a small smile twitching at his lips as he came to a stop next to Bridge.
"No, not really…" Bridge answered softly, large doe eyes curious.
Wolf's gaze darted back and forth between Bridge's doe eyes before he responded. "Let's see what we have here and narrow it down from there."
"Okay." Bridge nodded a small bit, tilting his head at Wolf. He wanted to kiss him again, but he was never entirely sure he could.
Wolf huffed a small, private laugh and leaned down to brush his lips against Bridge's. The boy always had a certain look in his eyes whenever he seemed to want to kiss him.
Bridge blushed a little bit, kissing him back happily. He didn't know how Wolf had known, but he wasn't complaining either.
Wolf slid an arm around Bridge's waist as he mumbled against his lips, "And there's the adorable blush again."
"It's…because of you," Bridge admitted, kissing him again. It was so nice to be able to just…kiss him, whenever he wanted.
Wolf just smiled into the kiss in response, holding Bridge close to him with his one arm while his other hand cupped the other boy's jaw.
Bridge blushed a little more, leaning into Wolf’s touch. It had been quite the long time since anyone had held him this way. Like they cared.
Wolf broke the kiss, but leaned his forehead against Bridge's right after. A smile played on his lips as he gazed into those beautiful golden eyes of his.
Bridge knew his cheeks were heating up just a little more, and his eyes danced around Wolf’s face, not knowing where to stay.
Wolf kissed both of Bridge's red cheeks. "You're so cute. I can't believe anyone wouldn't like you," he murmured in disbelief.
“You’d be surprised,” He mumbled in a small voice.
Wolf's face fell somewhat, and he pulled Bridge into a comforting hug, resting his chin on the other boy's head.
Bridge smiled, burying his head in the crook of Wolf’s shoulder. He was only the second person to ever treat him this way, and if he was being honest, he’d forgotten most of the first.
"I'm sorry people are so unfair," he said quietly, lightly tracing invisible patterns along Bridge's back.
“It’s…it’s not your fault,” Bridge mumbled into his collarbone.
"I know, but I still feel bad that you have to deal with people like that." Wolf kept his voice quiet as he spoke.
“It’s…it’s not too bad,” He said, lying a little. It got very bad sometimes, especially with his own father. He was sometimes wishing his mother could come back - before Wolf, she was the only person who ever cared for him. But she was gone now, and Wolf was here.
Wolf hummed knowingly but didn't push it any further as he sighed and kissed the top of Bridge's head. "If you say so," was all he said.
“Thank you.” Bridge mumbled, smiling gratefully into Wolf’s shoulder. I love you.
"You're welcome." Wolf moved his head to rest it on Bridge's shoulder, kissing it softly.
Bridge blushed, leaning against him and wrapping his arms around him.
