It is the apocalypse. Police brutality has reached an all-time peak and the only way to survive is to disappear. From others. From work. From school, hobbies, outlets, anything.
So what happens when your parents disappear and leave you stranded?
Will you have to live life on your own with nothing…or will someone help you?
Name: Bridge Vinny
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bi, but questioning gay
Appearance: Bridge is very short and somewhat weak for his age, with a coarse tussle of white hair, a glint of golden eyes, pale skin, and a smattering of black freckles. Large eyes and round face, giving him a "doe" sort of appearance. See backstory.
Backstory: Bridge is a genetic defect, giving him his mismatched set of features. His father never really did like the "freak" reputation he brought among the family (his mother was killed a couple years after his birth, accused of witchcraft), so when he saw that people were leaving their family and friends to disappear out of the system, he was one of the first to do so, leaving Bridge behind with almost nothing - and no regrets. The only thing Bridge got was his mother's old gray ribbon, which he wears around his left wrist as a reminder to always stay with people who need it.
Personality: Little, terrified fluffball. Will develop.
Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Mind if I pop in here? I got a gay boi that has issues with his beautiful eyes—as in he's self-conscious about it
Absolutely! He sounds adorable
Sweet! Lemme get his temp up in a bit
Name:Wulfric Gryffon (Wolf)
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay all the way
Appearance: He has heterochromia, so one eye is green while the other is blue. He usually tries to cover it up with colored contacts, however, because he's self-conscious about it. His hair is obsidian black and slightly unkempt. He's tall at 6 foot 3, and on the skinny side with some lean muscle, but not gangly. He has broad shoulders and some meat on his bones, so he isn't super skinny. His skin has a more olive tone to it, and he has a tattoo of a howling wolf on his shoulder. Not really sharp, but defined facial features.
Backstory: As the youngest of all his siblings (he has a twin sister, but she's the older twin), he's not really looked at much. He lives in the shadow of his other siblings and is perfectly fine with that. He's considered flawed by his parents, both with his heterochromia and his attraction towards men. He can never do anything right, no matter how hard he tries. However, his eldest brother takes up most of their parents' attention when it comes to trouble-making, so he and his twin make a habit of sneaking into the kitchen and sneaking some food that was left out unattended or to try their hand at some cooking of their own. He and Cinthia actually used to do a lot together, and their personalities are incredibly similar. However, their family split in order to preserve themselves. The four siblings still keep contact, but it's very limited.
Personality: He can come across as shy and stuck up to those he doesn't know nor does he want to know, since he doesn't talk much. But if you get to know him he's pretty laid back and outgoing. He's definitely a trouble maker, and proud of it. He especially likes to corrupt his friends and drag them along in his schemes, getting them in trouble as well. He's not very bad, though, as he can keep a civil conversation with people he doesn't like and has surprisingly good dictatorship skills. Loves cooking (mainly sweets) and learning about different cultures. (He's really not a bad dude, I swear)
Hnnnnnnnnnnnhnnhnhnnnnn I love him
Why thank you, I love him as well
Alright, want me to type up a starter?
Yes please. I'm currently eating diner
(okie)
Bridge accidentally kicked over a metal soda can, yelping a little and covering his mouth afterwards, glancing around to look for people in the twilight setting. No one seemed to hear it, so he continued to walk his way through the small alleyway, wondering what on earth he was going to have for dinner.
His father had left just the week before, and so he'd been living off of a small bakery with the money he found in a wallet dropped on the street. He'd tried to find the person it belonged to, but ended up being knocked down by a big lady who called him a freak. So, he had kept it for himself. But the money had recently run out, so now he was aimlessly walking out of sight with no plan in mind.
(Imma stall. This looks hella cute)
(Sorry I took so long)
Wolf aimlessly wandered the streets, looking up at the cloudy sky and attempting to make out pictures and shapes. There was a T-rex, over there was a smiley face… A small smile bloomed on his lips as he spotted a howling wolf.
He had just left his sister after talking to her for a bit. They both knew that their frequent meet-up was risky, but they were twins—how could you expect them to stay apart? It also didn't help that they usually accidentally bumped into each other on random occasions. They had exchanged some money and supplies, so he had a small bag with nonperishable foods, money, and a random book about the history of Rome.
(you're fine lol)
Bridge was looking down, and Wolf was looking up, so it was natural that they collided into each other. Bridge let out a small, surprised squeak and fell down, looking up with wide eyes at the stranger.
Wolf stumbled as he ran into someone, apologies already spilling from his lips before he even looked at whoever he had run into. His gray eyes (thank you colored contacts) locked on a small and strange boy on the ground. He crouched down. "I'm sorry, I wasn't looking. Are you okay?"
"I'm…fine…" Bridge responded shakily, not making any move to stand or back away. He'd been taught that people saw him as a freak and nothing more, so he wasn't expecting Wolf to help him. He looked up at him in surprise.
Wolf nodded in relief and stood back out, holding out a hand for the boy to take. "I'm Wulfric, but just call me Wolf. Sounds less medieval." His gaze bounced around the boy's unique features, intrigued.
"Thank you…?" Bridge took it, confused now. Why on earth was he being helpful of all things, especially now?
"S-sorry, um…I'm a defect, I should go," He explained quickly and quietly, taking a step to leave.
Wolf's brows twitched together in confusion. He could see that this boy had something going on with his appearance, but Wolf thought it cute more than anything. "Uh… You don't have to leave," he said, tilting his head slightly.
"I - I don't?" Bridge looked up at him, still unsure what Wolf was up to. "Are you sure?"
Wolf nodded with a small and kind smile. "Positive. I don't see any reason for you to leave."
"Oh! Um…okay," He responded, surprised. "My name's Bridge, by the way."
He nodded, picking his bag back up from where he had dropped it, then slid his hands in his hoodie pocket. "Nice to meet you, Bridge."
