Nolan looked into Neo's bright eyes, nodding as he listened to his gentle voice. God, he loved Neo's voice.He sighed, looking down at his most recent injury before nodding. "Yeah. I'm alright." He growled, still pensive on the thought of Seraphina.

It was almost impossible for Neo to think of a day when him and Nolan wouldn’t be together. They had been partners almost since both their early teenage years, even though they did’t start loving each other in that way until about two years ago. It was horrible for Neo to think that they wouldn’t always be together. “You’d say your ‘ok’ if you had just lost an arm. What can I do to help you be more than just ‘ok’?”

William stared blankly at the spot in which Sara had just been seconds before, he wiped his mouth of the tears resting on it, then lifted his mask slightly to wipe his own tears off his heating cheeks.
He quickly headed back out to the ballroom, a fake smile plastered on his face and offering the guests fruit, he felt a sickening feeling in his stomach.

Sara was in love with him, a butler of a rich family? The statement was starting to sound like a fairytale. She could choose anyone of her own class but she chose him instead.

(im fine with any kind of relationship with Sara involving Will and also he is just a butler, but he could also be the stable boy if needed–)

As the clock ticked forward, Saraphina accepted an offer to dance from a nameless ambitious young suitor.
"I do hope–" he began as they stepped out onto the floor, "–that the announcement will be satisfactory to all."
Saraphina merely gifted the youth with a cold smile as she twirled away from him. Satisfactory to all. Ha! The announcement would certainly not be satisfactory to all, not the ones it affected. Nolan certainly didn't know what he was getting into, the treacherous waters that his family by marriage swam in. Sara couldn't imagine a worse fate for the young duke, a fate she wouldn't wish upon anyone, no matter how insufferable their presence was to her.
And Sara… Well, Saraphina didn't want to think about her fate.
Her mother, Lady Cordelia Dekalit, would certainly be pleased, however. Her mother would revel in the glory this marriage would bring. Her mother would hold Sara's safety over her head, would wait until she broke to finally rip away the mask of politeness to reveal the monster Sara knew so well. Her mother would wait until the perfect moment to bring Saraphina to her knees.
Sara glanced at the clock. 11:52.
Irritation pulsed through her bones. 8 minutes.
Where was Nolan?

Nolan sat up a bit more, bringing his face toward Neo's, feeling his warm breath trail down his neck. "I think I have an idea…" He murmured, his lips softly brushing Neo's as his hands went to the nape of the other's neck, smoothing his hair gently.

"Oh?" Neo half whispered before leaning full into the kiss. He knew from experience that Nolan was good, but he was continually surprised by how good he actually was. Neo set his arms around Nolan's neck and pulled him closer. Fully enjoying the time they had before someone walked down the hall.

Nolan's hands found their way down Neo's back, pulling him deeper into the kiss as he wrapped his legs around Neo's waist. The world disappeared when he was with him, every sense heightened as he indulged into his lover. He didn't even notice the person who had appeared.

Alice walks away from Will, sighing. She walks straight into… Neo and Roland, kissing. She stops.

What…? "What?" she says, the words slkipping out.

Neo's eyes shot open and he puled back. "shit" he whispered as he looked over his shoulder to the person standing there. They didn't like a noble, but nor were they dressed like a slave. Neo turned back to Nolan. "Do you know who that is?" he asked.
