Appearance: Marie is quite tall, standing at 6'1", with curves. She has long red hair, that goes to her waist, and is often braided in some way. Her skin is pale, without a tan or freckles. Her eyes are bright blue. She typically wears dresses, as is expected of a noblewoman, but she has surprisingly good musculature, as she is also a renowned swordswoman (and marksman).
Clothes: As stated, often wears dresses or skirts, but in private will often wear pants and a shirt, or when she is sparring or shooting.
Personality: Very stately and calm, never quick to judgement. A kind woman, with a gentle smile and a whip-smart intellect. Very much loves her partner, Lady Gwenevere Hiraeth, and is utterly devoted to her in every way (and vice versa). Has never wanted children, so she chose her niece as her heir.

Appearance: Vale is 5'11", with the slender build one tends to expect of the fae. Their appearance is never quite concrete; some things change every now and again, but in general, their features appear this way: his eyes are usually black (often completely so, though he occasionally puts whites back in in order to be less disconcerting to humans). His hair is also black, though this contrasts with skin as pale as snow. His fingertips have frost-like patterns on them, like a window when it is very cold outside. This pattern shows up on the rest of his skin as well sometimes, shimmering in the light when the angle is just right. Has very sharp cheekbones, and long, thin fingers, along with pointed ears. He can pass for human at a glance (and can use glamour to appear completely human, though it's difficult), but any amount of study will show them for what they really are.
Clothes: Dresses well, most of the time. Button-ups and dark slacks, and either boots or barefoot, no in-between. Impervious to the cold and can and will rub it in your face.
Personality: Honestly has a cold personality (get it?), and can take a while to "Warm up" to someone. Despite that, they usually aren't outright cruel; they're just a bit stand-offish. Around people he genuinely cares about, though, he's very kind and gentle. Doesn't usually hurt people, though Fae like to play tricks, and he has done so before.
Other: currently visiting the human court. Has magic, due to being a fae
